Jiaxing Special Container Houses

Admin September 13, 2026

Jiaxing special container houses are a building form constructed with a steel frame and wall-panel structure, featuring modularity and mobility, and are mainly used for temporary or semi-professional needs in specific scenarios.

Structural and Material Features

The main frame is primarily cold-formed steel or hot-rolled steel to ensure structural strength; exterior wall panels use galvanized steel sheet, aluminum sheet, or fiber-reinforced cement board, balancing durability and light weight; interiors are filled with rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane foam for efficient thermal insulation; floors typically use non-slip cement fiberboard or wood-based panels; roofs use waterproof membranes or metal tiles and are designed as gently pitched flat or sloping surfaces for drainage.

Production Process

Production is completed in the factory: first, dimensions and layout are designed according to customer requirements; then steel is cut and welded to form the frame; wall panels and roof panels are prefabricated and assembled with the frame, while doors, windows, and ventilation facilities are installed at the same time; finally, electrical wiring, plumbing, and surface finishing are completed, and the finished units are transported by truck to the site of use.

Application Scenarios and Adaptability

Suitable for project site offices (office and accommodation), industrial parks (warehouses/temporary workshops), commercial venues (retail/dining), educational institutions (temporary classrooms/event spaces), and agriculture (agricultural product storage). In terms of environmental adaptability, cold regions maintain temperature with thicker insulation layers and double-glazed windows; hot and rainy regions strengthen ventilation and moisture-proof design; seismic design meets basic requirements and can withstand wind and snow loads; anti-corrosion treatment enables adaptation to high-salinity coastal environments.

Cost and Lifespan

Total cost is about $4,167-$11,111, depending on configuration and quantity. In the cost breakdown, materials account for 40% (mainly steel and insulation materials), production costs account for 30%, and transportation and installation each account for 15%. Under normal use, the main structure lasts more than 15 years, and regular maintenance can extend service life; after dismantling, the steel frame can be recycled and wall panels can be partially recycled, generating little construction waste and with low environmental impact.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation requires a level site foundation (concrete piers or steel frames); modules are lifted with lifting equipment, connected and secured, then sealing and structural stability are checked. Routine maintenance includes regular inspection of structural connection points, clearing the roof drainage system, and replacing door and window weatherstripping; surface coatings are reapplied every three years for corrosion protection, and the electrical system undergoes an annual safety inspection.
