Jiangxi Container House Project
The Jiangxi container house project takes cast-in-place concrete as its core technology and combines modular design. It features thermal insulation, detachability, and durability, and is widely used in temporary housing, construction site dormitories, commercial spaces, and other fields.

I. Core Technology and Structural Advantages
Some container house projects in Jiangxi break through the traditional metal box structure and adopt cast-in-place concrete technology. Taking the Jiujiang project as an example, custom formwork is set up within the standard container frame, and a 120mm thick reinforced concrete shell is poured to form a high-strength structural body. The concrete itself has significant thermal inertia. Combined with a 30mm extruded polystyrene board composite structure, the measured indoor surface temperature in summer is 8.6℃ lower than that of a color-steel plate house, and the heat transfer coefficient (K-value) reaches 0.41W/(㎡·K), which is better than the Jiangxi Provincial Green Building Standard (0.45W/(㎡·K)). In addition, flexible connections are achieved through pre-embedded stainless steel anchors and epoxy resin grouting technology. When dismantling, the concrete shell can be completely peeled off, with a reuse rate of 92%, balancing structural strength and detachability.
II. Functional Expansion and Application Scenarios
Container house projects meet diverse needs through modular design:
- Temporary Housing: The Lianxi District homestay project has built 4 guest rooms using this technology, which have both thermal insulation and earthquake resistance properties and are suitable for tourist attractions, post-disaster resettlement, and other scenarios.
- Construction Site Dormitories: Enterprises in Nanchang and Ganzhou provide assembled living containers equipped with air conditioners, beds, and lighting facilities, supporting rapid deployment and relocation.
- Commercial Spaces: Ganzhou Kezu Company constructs two- to three-story buildings by assembling single containers vertically and horizontally, creating diversified functional spaces such as conference rooms, sales kiosks, and mobile restrooms.
- Special Purposes: Nanchang Yixin Company has developed nucleic acid sampling rooms and epidemic prevention and isolation containers. Jiangxi Linju Company customizes packing boxes for export loading and unloading, expanding applications in the medical and logistics fields.
III. Rust Prevention and Maintenance Technology
To address the issue of rusting in metal boxes, Jiangxi enterprises adopt multiple protective measures:
- Sealed Exterior Walls: Prevent moist air from entering the interior and slow down the rusting process.
- Moisture-Proof Materials: Thermal insulation cotton is pasted inside to reduce the risk of moisture accumulation.
- Regular Maintenance: Rust is removed and painted for maintenance in a timely manner upon discovery, extending the service life.
Some enterprises, such as Jiangxi Zhonglixin Integrated Housing Co., Ltd., balance cost and durability through color-steel materials and assembled design, suitable for construction site enclosures, movable panel houses, and other scenarios.
