Modular Intelligent Mobile Public Toilets
The first modular intelligent mobile public toilet in Jiangbei District is located at Caixin Plaza in Jiangbeizui. Designed with the concept of "technology + environmental protection + ecology", it has a modern and stylish appearance. In terms of functionality, in addition to basic toilet facilities, it integrates modules such as unmanned vending, urban promotional displays, self-service charging, self-service paper dispensing, and public rest areas to meet the diverse needs of citizens. At the technological level, it utilizes smart IoT for intelligent sensing and automatic alerts, enabling the dispatch of work orders to cleaning staff and achieving visual management of operational data. It employs vacuum suction treatment technology to significantly save water and effectively addresses odor issues through multiple patented technologies such as microbial degradation and air sterilization. Regarding construction efficiency, while the on-site construction period for conventional public toilets is about three months, this modular toilet is produced, debugged, and tested on an industrial assembly line in a factory, with a production cycle of only about 45 days. On-site construction takes just one day, allowing it to be put into use by simply hoisting it into place and connecting water and electricity. It is suitable for both emergency temporary use scenarios and can also serve as permanent facilities through secondary combinations.
Vehicle-Mounted Mobile Toilets and Layout of Newly Added Mobile Toilets
During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, to cope with the peak tourist flow, the Jiangbei District Environmental Sanitation Office added 12 mobile toilets and 1 vehicle-mounted mobile toilet to the existing public toilet locations in the Jiangbeizui riverside area. Previously, there were 4 mobile toilets and 1 fixed public toilet in this area. During the National Day holidays, 12 mobile toilets were added at three locations: the riverside area near the left parking lot of the Grand Theater, the River Chief's Office, and the left side of the Jinshamen fixed public toilet. A vehicle-mounted mobile toilet was added at Dongshengmen, and more than 40 public toilet guide signs were installed to guide citizens and tourists. Regarding operating hours and cleaning management, the mobile toilet vehicles are open from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., with approximately 200 users per day during the holidays. Dedicated personnel are assigned for regular cleaning, with emptying and water refilling carried out every two days. The 16 mobile toilets are divided into 4 locations, with 2 cleaning staff assigned to each location. Cleaning frequency is increased and cleaning hours are extended to ensure hygiene quality. In terms of water supply, two small high-pressure water trucks and one large water truck are stationed near Jinshamen and Huanghuayuan Bridge to respond to sudden water demands.
