Iron Sheet Mobile Toilet Maintenance
Maintenance of iron sheet mobile toilets requires targeted handling based on specific fault types, covering four major aspects: structure, sanitation system, frame, and water leakage.

Overall Structure and Appearance Maintenance: If the box body is deformed or cracked, small cracks can be repaired with special plastic welding materials, while severe deformation requires replacement of the box body or components. When the door lock fails or the hinges rust, regularly apply lubricant to the hinges and lock core. If the internal spring of the lock fails or the structure is damaged, the entire lock set needs to be replaced. Regularly clean the ventilation openings of leaves, dust, or insect nests to ensure air circulation.
Sanitation System and Flush Device Maintenance: Manual or foot-operated flush valve failures are often caused by spring failure inside the valve, aging of the sealing ring, or blockage by scale. After closing the water inlet valve, disassemble and clean it, replacing aging parts or the entire valve body. For automatic induction flush devices, check the power supply (such as battery level) and whether the infrared sensing window is blocked by dirt. If the problem persists, it may be a fault with the control board or solenoid valve, requiring professional handling. For leaks in the storage tank and pipes, minor leaks can be repaired with waterproof sealing tape or special glue, while larger cracks in the tank are recommended to be replaced.
Frame Fault Repair: Use a level to check the verticality of the frame and inspect welding points for cracks. Perform torque testing on connecting parts such as hinges and bolts, and retighten them with a torque wrench according to standard values. Measure the dimensions of parts to be replaced, verify material certification documents, apply lithium-based grease when installing new bearings, and use anti-electrochemical corrosion gaskets when replacing aluminum alloy components. Structural cracks are filled with epoxy resin composite materials, and reinforced with stainless steel plates and rivets at stressed parts. Install spring washers at frequently loosening connection points, weld cross-bracing rods to load-bearing columns to maintain the original structural load distribution balance, establish a monthly inspection system focusing on monitoring the coating condition of corrosion-prone parts, apply anti-rust paint before the rainy season, clear snow from the frame in winter, and keep it ventilated and dry during storage.
Water Leakage Repair: After accurately locating the leak point, cut off the water source and drain the accumulated water. Cover minor interface leaks or small cracks with high-performance waterproof sealing tape or liquid leak stopper. When the sealant ages causing leaks at the toilet base or pipe connections, remove the old sealant and reapply weather-resistant silicone structural sealant. For cracks in the weld seams of the box body panels or large holes, for metal materials, use argon arc welding for repair and then apply anti-rust paint and waterproof coating; for plastic or fiberglass materials, use special AB glue combined with multiple layers of fiberglass cloth for reinforcement. After repair, let it stand until the material is fully cured, and then conduct a water injection test.
All maintenance operations must be carried out with protective equipment. Special operations such as welding should be performed by certified personnel. For frames with severe structural deformation, it is recommended to replace the entire frame to ensure safety.
