Interior Floor Plan of Container Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

The interior floor plan layouts of different types of container houses are as follows:

100-square-meter single-story mini-mansion
This house is constructed by joining two containers, adopting an open-plan design overall. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are fully integrated, creating a cohesive public activity space that enhances a sense of openness and interaction. Two bedrooms are positioned on either side, providing separate resting areas. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, meeting the demands of a high-quality lifestyle. The layout emphasizes functional zoning and efficient space utilization, making it suitable for family living.

120-square-meter container villa residence
Comprising four 30-square-meter high containers, it features a staggered two-story design. The ground floor includes a living room, kitchen, washroom, laundry room, master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, balcony, and utility room, with clear functional zoning. The master bedroom's private bathroom enhances privacy. The second floor houses a guest room with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, a hall-corridor, a study, a terrace, and a double-height living and dining area. The staggered terraces improve natural lighting and views, while the double-height space adds a sense of grandeur, suitable for multi-generational or high-end living.

Small guesthouse hotel
Constructed from four 6-meter-long containers, it has a two-story layout. The ground floor contains sanitary facilities, a technical room, a storage room, and a four-bed guest room, meeting basic service and group accommodation needs. The upper floor consists of four private guest rooms sharing a common terrace, ensuring guest privacy while promoting interaction through the shared terrace, ideal for short-term travel accommodations.

“Sustainable Living Lab”
Composed of six standard container modules (6055mm×2435mm×2790mm), it adopts a modular design. The entrance container is arranged horizontally, forming a three-sided courtyard, enhancing spatial openness. The remaining five are arranged vertically, housing three bedrooms, a storage room, experimental and display spaces, and kitchen and bathroom facilities. The modular layout is flexible and adaptable, allowing space combinations to be adjusted according to functional needs, suitable for scientific research, exhibitions, or multi-functional living scenarios.

All layouts are based on the standardized dimensions and structural characteristics of containers, achieving functional optimization through joining, staggering, or modular combinations, balancing practicality and innovation.
