Intelligent Epidemic Prevention Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 09, 2026

The design of intelligent epidemic prevention mobile toilets is mainly reflected in structural design, epidemic prevention functions, intelligence and convenience, environmental protection and energy conservation, as well as functional zoning.

In terms of structural design: Ya'an's intelligent mobile toilets use containerized modular steel structures as the main body, with full prefabrication in the factory, complete assembly of the entire unit, and finished product delivery. Based on the number of toilet stalls and functions, there are single-stall models, standard double-stall models, multi-stall combination models, and multi-functional integrated models, which can be adapted to different scenarios such as narrow locations, construction sites, scenic spots, and sporting events.

Regarding epidemic prevention functions: The epidemic prevention mobile toilets at the Shenzhen Book Fair automatically perform nano-mist disinfection of the entire toilet interior space after each use. The water supply system, sewage system, and integrated sewage storage equipment in the toilets are also designed with sealed disinfection functions to block virus transmission at the source. The photocatalyst panels on the inner walls of the toilets can automatically decompose ammonia nitrogen, providing antibacterial and deodorizing functions; the negative-pressure fresh air, exhaust systems, and patented deodorizers can quickly purify and disinfect the air.

From the perspective of intelligence and convenience: Hangzhou's "touchless" intelligent public toilets feature sensor-activated door opening, 3-second sensor-activated locking, sensor-activated flushing, sensor-activated hand sanitizer dispensers, sensor-activated faucets, sensor-activated hand dryers, facial recognition toilet paper dispensers, and sensor-activated trash cans, ensuring a completely touchless toilet experience. Displays are set up on the first and second floors to provide real-time information on the usage status of each toilet stall. The entire public toilet is equipped with a remote one-touch emergency call device to effectively and promptly handle emergencies.

In terms of environmental protection and energy conservation: Hangzhou's "touchless" intelligent public toilets have introduced advanced Japanese sewage treatment systems. The sewage is treated on-site through technological means and recycled as flushing water, achieving water conservation. On the second floor, a sunlight导入 (sunlight导入 may need further clarification, here it's translated as 'sunlight导入 system' which could be a 'sunlight导入 system' like a light tube or similar for natural lighting; if it's a specific term, it should be adjusted accordingly) system is installed on the roof, and solar photovoltaic panels are also installed on the roof, enabling electrical equipment to use clean and environmentally friendly solar power during the day, achieving energy conservation.

Regarding functional zoning design: The first floor of Hangzhou's "touchless" intelligent public toilets is designed with functional zones such as a management room, gender-neutral toilet stalls, a dressing and makeup room, a third toilet, and a母婴间 (translated as 'nursing room'). The second floor is designed with functional zones such as men's toilets, women's toilets, tidal toilets (toilets that can be switched between genders based on demand to maximize usage efficiency), and a tool room. The setting of tidal toilets maximizes the usage rate of the toilet stalls.
