Installation of Three-Squat Toilet Mobile Restrooms

Admin October 12, 2026

The installation of three-squat toilet mobile restrooms requires systematic planning, covering pre-installation preparation, on-site installation, and functional testing, with the core goal of achieving efficient, hygienic, and stable temporary sanitation services.

I. Pre-Installation Planning and Preparation

  1. Site Assessment and Selection
The site selection should balance convenience and hygiene: prioritize areas on the edge of high-traffic zones or near passageways to ensure easy access for users; avoid upwind locations of activity areas to minimize odor dispersion; the ground should be level and firm; if the ground is soft (e.g., grass or mud), lay down pads in advance to distribute the load; be close to water supply points or sewage discharge connections, or plan routes for water trucks and fecal suction trucks.
  2. Demand and Specification Selection
Calculate the number and type of restrooms based on the scale of the event (number of participants, duration, gender ratio). Three-squat toilet mobile restrooms are suitable for alleviating concentrated toilet pressure while maintaining a compact structure; weigh the pros and cons of single units (flexible movement, quick deployment) versus large units (full functionality but large space requirements).
  3. Material and Personnel Preparation
Materials include pads, potable water-grade hoses, sewage pipes, tools (wrenches, spirit levels), cleaning and disinfection supplies, and consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap; personnel should have knowledge of water and electricity connections and safety operation procedures to ensure compliance during the installation process.

II. On-Site Installation Steps

  1. Site Leveling and Positioning
After clearing debris, use measuring tools to determine the positions of the restroom units, reserving space between units and for queuing; lay down pads or wooden boards on soft ground.
  2. Unit Positioning and Stabilization
Use a forklift or trailer to place the units in position, check the levelness with a spirit level, and adjust the bottom foot pads or wedges to level them, ensuring no wobbling.
  3. System Connections
  • Water Supply Connection: Connect one end of the hose to a reliable water source (e.g., a temporary water tank) and the other end to the restroom's water inlet, check the water pressure, and vent air from the pipe.
  • Sewage Connection: Connect one end of the sewage pipe to the restroom's sewage outlet and the other end to a sewage storage tank or fecal suction truck interface; adjust the connection method according to the type of waste treatment (storage tank type, circulating water flush type, dry/packing type).

III. Functional Testing and Acceptance

After installation, test whether the water supply and sewage systems are functioning properly, check that the flushing mechanism, locking mechanism, ventilation system, and other functions are intact, and ensure there are no leaks or odors before putting them into use.
