Installation of Rolling Shutters for Container Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

The installation of rolling shutters for container houses can be carried out according to the following steps:

I. Rail Installation
Rail installation is the foundational step for installing rolling shutters. First, groove and drill holes in the rails. Cut the rail length to 5cm, drill the first hole 20cm from the end of the rail, and drill the second hole 50cm from the first hole. After drilling the holes, thread the brush strip into the rail, leaving a 2cm length of the brush strip exposed. Then, bend the rail so that it aligns flush with the frame of the container house. During installation, ensure that the bottom of the rail presses against the brush strip. Use screws to fix the rail to the frame according to the pre-drilled holes. Repeat the above operations for the rail installation on the other side.

II. Motor Installation
The motor is the power source for the operation of the rolling shutter and must be installed strictly according to the steps. First, install and fix the motor side plate. Fix the center of the folded part at 12cm on the side plate and secure it firmly with screws. Then, install the motor beam. During installation, ensure that the holes are inserted horizontally into the side plate and that the wires are inserted downward into the side plate to ensure the motor beam is installed securely. Finally, insert the positioning pin to fix the motor in the appropriate position, preventing the motor from shifting during operation.

III. Side Plate Installation
Install the side plate 5cm from the top beam of the container house. The installation of the side plate provides support and positioning for the overall installation of the rolling shutter, ensuring the flatness and stability of the installation.

IV. Electrical Installation
Electrical installation is crucial for the control and operation of the rolling shutter. First, connect the remote control for convenient remote operation of the rolling shutter. Then, install the socket to provide a power interface for the electrical system of the rolling shutter. Next, install the transformer to convert the power supply voltage to the appropriate voltage required by the rolling shutter motor. Finally, plug the rolling shutter plug into the transformer to complete the electrical connection.

V. Testing and Adjustment
After completing the above installation steps, testing and adjustment are required. First, conduct an upward rolling shutter test to observe whether the rolling shutter can operate normally. If the rolling shutter stops during the upward movement, it indicates that the upper limit has been reached. At this time, use the limit rod to adjust the upper limit. Lower the door to the bottom and use the limit rod to adjust the lower limit. Perform the same operation by raising the door to a position 50cm from the top, pressing pause, adjusting in the minus direction, and then testing to ensure that the upper and lower limits of the rolling shutter are accurate and that it operates safely and reliably.

In addition, there is also an installation method where the rolling shutter slot and the side bracket of the rolling shutter rod are fixed first, and then screwed and fixed. The appropriate installation method can be selected according to the actual situation.
