Installation Method for Mobile Toilet Sanitary Ware

Admin October 05, 2026

The installation of sanitary ware in mobile toilets should be carried out step by step according to the specific type. The core processes include reserving positions in the main structure, fixing the sanitary ware, connecting pipes, and reinforcing hardware. The specific methods are as follows:

I. Reserving Installation Positions for Sanitary Ware During Main Structure Assembly

Mobile toilets are usually transported as prefabricated components. During on-site installation, components such as the floor, wall panels, and roof cover should be assembled in the order specified in the instructions. The key point is to plan the positions of the sanitary ware in advance. For example, the toilet seat should align with the reserved sewage outlet, the sink should be close to the drainage pipe, and the storage rack should avoid load-bearing structures. A level should be used to calibrate the verticality of each component during assembly to ensure a flat surface for installing the sanitary ware, preventing seal failure or inconvenience in use due to structural tilting later.

II. Installing Core Sanitary Ware such as Toilet Seats

  1. Toilet Seat Installation: Align the toilet seat with the reserved sewage outlet and apply waterproof silicone on the contact surface between the bottom and the floor to ensure a tight seal. For a basic mobile toilet, first install silicone anti-slip pads in the four corners of the bottom, then align the upper and lower parts of the toilet and press down to fully engage the buckles, preventing displacement during use.
  2. Sink Installation: When fixing the sink, use expansion bolts to connect the bracket to the wall. Fill the gap between the sink body and the wall with glass glue to prevent water from seeping into the interlayer. For an above-counter basin, install a waterproof washer at the hole in the countertop; for an under-counter basin, use special adhesive to fix the edges.
  3. Mirror and Storage Rack Installation: Use an electric drill to mark the hole positions on the wall, insert expansion tubes, and then fix the brackets, ensuring that the load-bearing capacity meets the requirements (e.g., the storage rack should be able to bear a weight of over 5 kg). For mirror installation, use special adhesive or metal brackets to avoid the risk of glass breakage.

III. Connecting the Sink Drain Pipe

The drain pipe should be connected to the designated drainage pipe of the mobile toilet. Use PVC glue or rubber sealing rings at the connection points to ensure no leakage. Key details: The slope of the drain pipe should be maintained at 2%-3% to prevent water accumulation; if the length of the drain pipe exceeds 1.5 meters, add expansion joints to prevent cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction.

IV. Fixing Hardware and Final Inspection

All screws and bolts should be tightened until they cannot be manually shaken, especially for frequently used parts such as the fixing bolts of the toilet seat and the faucet connectors of the sink. After installation, conduct functional tests:

  1. Fill the toilet seat and sink with water to check if the drainage is smooth and if there are any blockages or leaks;
  2. Turn the faucet on and off and press the flush button to verify the flexibility of the hardware operation;
  3. Wipe the connection points between the sanitary ware and the wall and floor with a tissue to check if the sealant is intact.

Precautions: Before installation, check if all the accessories of the sanitary ware are complete (e.g., the toilet seat should include a sealing ring and fixing bolts). The base of the mobile toilet should be level and stable to avoid uneven stress on the sanitary ware due to an uneven floor. For outdoor mobile toilets, consider anti-freezing measures (e.g., wrap the drain pipe with insulation cotton).
