Installation Guide for Container Houses

Admin September 15, 2026

When installing container houses, it is necessary to select the appropriate tutorial based on the type. The following are common installation steps and key points:

I. Installation of Foldable Container Mobile Homes

  1. Safety Preparations: Keep non-staff members away from the installation area and check the stability of the steel wire ropes.
  2. Main Body Unfolding: Use a crane to lift and steadily unfold the main frame, and place support rods in the middle of the container body to maintain stability.
  3. Wall Installation: Push open one wall, tighten it with fastening screws, then push open the other wall with doors and windows and tighten the screws.
  4. Lifting and Positioning: Lift the foldable container house to the predetermined installation location and lower it after ensuring that no one is around.

II. Installation of Assembled Container Panel Houses

  1. Bottom Frame Installation: Connect the container bottom corners with the bottom beams on a flat ground or workbench. Use hexagon socket bolts without tightening them for now. Adjust the frame to ensure that the difference in the diagonals of the bottom frame is ≤ 3mm, and then tighten the bolts. Install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positioning holes on the long beams and fix them. Lay the floor base plates, mark the center line of the π-shaped beams, start laying the floor from one end, snap chalk lines according to the marks, and fix them with nails at intervals of 300 - 350mm. Sand the entire floor, apply PVC special floor adhesive, wait for 10 - 15 minutes, lay the floor covering, and expel the air. If possible, perform welding treatment on the joints.
  2. Subsequent Installation: Subsequent steps include steel structure assembly, wall and roof panel installation, door and window installation, concealed works installation such as water and electricity, moisture-proof and waterproof measures, and PVC扣板 (PVC ceiling panel) installation. These steps must be carried out strictly in accordance with relevant standards and requirements to ensure installation quality.

III. General Installation Precautions

  1. Foundation Treatment: Plan the flatness of the foundation in advance, embed drainage pipes, and select appropriate lifting points to avoid later tilting or water accumulation. For long-term outdoor use scenarios, wind and earthquake resistance designs should be carried out, such as reinforcing the corners with steel frames and building concrete piers at the bottom.
  2. Material Inspection: When the materials arrive at the site, unload and handle them reasonably. Handle them gently to avoid damage and inspect the welding quality of the steel structures.
  3. Standardized Operations: During the installation process, non-professionals should not stand under the foldable container house or the crane to ensure construction safety.
