Dimensions of Indoor Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

The common dimensions of indoor mobile toilets vary depending on the type and usage scenario, and can be divided into the following four categories:

  1. Single-Person Standard Type
The interior length is 1.2 - 1.5 meters, the width is 0.8 - 1.0 meters, and the height is 2.2 - 2.4 meters. This type of toilet has a compact space and is suitable for installation in places with limited space, such as on the street or in park corners, meeting the basic usage needs of a single person.

  2. Double-Person Standard Type
The interior length is 1.8 - 2.2 meters, the width is 1.0 - 1.2 meters, and the height is 2.2 - 2.4 meters. Its space is larger than that of the single-person type, allowing two people to use it simultaneously or providing a more spacious activity area. It is suitable for scenarios with a slightly higher flow of people, such as scenic spots and factories.

  3. Barrier-Free Type
The interior length is 2.0 - 2.4 meters, the width is 1.2 - 1.5 meters, and the height is 2.2 - 2.4 meters. This type of toilet is specially designed for people with disabilities, equipped with handrails, low-position washbasins, and other facilities, and reserves space for wheelchair rotation to ensure convenience and safety of use.

  4. Luxury Type
The interior length is 2.5 - 3.0 meters, the width is 1.5 - 2.0 meters, and the height is 2.4 - 2.6 meters. It has a spacious space and exquisite decoration, often equipped with independent washbasins, mirrors, ventilation systems, and other facilities. It is suitable for high-end venues or large-scale events to enhance the user experience.

In addition, according to the national standard GB55031 - 2022 'General Code for Civil Buildings', the net dimensions of toilet compartments should meet the following requirements:

  • Outward-Opening Compartments: The area for the toilet seat should be 0.9×1.3 meters, and the area for the squat toilet should be 0.9×1.2 meters.
  • Inward-Opening Compartments: The area for the toilet seat should be 0.9×1.5 meters, and the area for the squat toilet should be 0.9×1.4 meters.

The above dimensions are all net dimensions, that is, the actual usable space after deducting structures such as walls and doors. They should be strictly followed to ensure user comfort. When making an actual selection, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the specific usage scenario, the flow of people, and functional requirements.
