Indoor Assembled Portable Toilet for Home Use
Admin October 09, 2026
There are mainly two ways to obtain an indoor assembled portable toilet for home use: buying a ready-made product or making one yourself.

Buying a Ready-Made Portable Toilet
- Diverse Product Options: There are various brands of indoor home-use portable toilet products available on the market, such as Mengyang, Xigu, and Larisi. These products are designed with home needs in mind, and can meet different family usage scenarios in terms of size and functionality.
- Easy Installation: Installing a ready-made portable toilet is relatively simple. Some tutorials indicate that it can be completed in just six steps. Generally, the installation steps may include determining the installation location, connecting the water supply and drainage pipes (some products may not require connecting the water supply), securing the toilet body, and installing the toilet lid. This installation method is very user-friendly for those without much hands-on experience, allowing them to quickly assemble and start using the portable toilet.
Making a Self-Made Portable Toilet
- Material Preparation: Making a self-made portable toilet requires various materials, such as buckets, wooden boards, universal wheels, wooden strips, aluminum-plastic panels, hinges, elbow drainage pipes, floor drains, water pipe connectors, PVC pipes, valve switches, and toilets. These materials can be selected according to actual needs and budget to ensure that all functions of the toilet can be met.
- Production Steps: First, take a wooden board and install universal wheels on it as the base to provide mobility for the entire toilet. Place the cut bucket on top and secure it to the bucket body with wooden strips to build the main structure of the toilet. Cut a large bucket to create an entrance and exit for the toilet, and wrap and secure the cut edges with wooden boards to ensure safety. Extend and heighten the bucket with aluminum-plastic panels and install a lid to increase privacy and practicality. Process a wooden door with wood and install it on the door frame with hinges to further improve the toilet's enclosure. Mark the hole positions at the bottom, connect the elbow drainage pipe and install a floor drain to solve the drainage problem. Drill holes on the side to install water pipe connectors, providing water sources for functions such as showers. Place a green bucket on the top lid, use PVC pipes to拼接 (assemble) a showerhead, connect the showerhead below the green bucket, connect the water pipes properly, and install valve switches to realize the shower function. Finally, install a newly purchased toilet and apply sealant to ensure its tightness and stability.
