Independent Single-Room Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

An independent single-room mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing toilet services to the public or customers, suitable for both fixed and temporary locations. The following is an introduction from three aspects: product types, structural components, and classification methods.

I. Product Types
Independent single-room mobile toilets launched by different companies vary in design. For example, among the products of Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd., one is a 4-squat-position overall ridge-raising model with 4 independent single rooms that are unisex, offering higher usage frequency. Its exterior walls are made of brick-patterned metal thermal insulation materials and aluminum alloy, combining aesthetics with durability. Another is the Apple Cabin model, featuring a grille design at the front, a spacious rain-proof corridor in the middle, and an added washbasin, making it suitable for parks, scenic spots, campsites, and other scenarios with a prominent cost-effectiveness advantage.

II. Structural Components
The core structures of a mobile toilet include a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect excreta, and some products are equipped with disposal devices for on-site treatment. The walls and roof form an enclosed space, ensuring privacy and protection against wind and rain. Washing equipment such as washbasins enhances user convenience. The mobile device endows it with the ability to be moved as a whole, adapting to different scenarios.

III. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They are divided into single-unit structures and composite structures. Single-unit structures are independent and complete units, easy to install. Composite structures are composed of multiple modules, offering higher flexibility.
  2. By moving method: They include lifting/handling types and powered/trailer types. Lifting types rely on lifting equipment for relocation, while handling types require manual or small mechanical assistance. Powered types have their own drive systems, and trailer types are moved by vehicles.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are classified as water-flush and waterless suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types require a water connection and use water for cleaning. Waterless suction types use vacuum or negative pressure to suction excreta. Circulating water-flush types achieve water reuse through filtration and purification. Dry-packing types use biodegradable bags to collect feces, eliminating the need for a water source and sewage pipes.
