Imported Cement Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

Imported cement prefabricated houses produced in China are widely popular overseas, boasting multiple advantages such as advanced technology, efficient construction, and economic and environmental benefits.

In terms of technical performance, the prefabricated cement houses adopt a full-frame shear wall structure with a compressive strength of 30 MPa, equivalent to being able to withstand 3,000 tons per square meter, far exceeding the structural stability of traditional buildings. The modules are doubly connected through mortise-and-tenon joints and bolts. In the Wenchuan earthquake simulation test, the overall displacement was only 3 centimeters under a 9-degree intensity shake, demonstrating significant seismic resistance. The walls are embedded with EPS insulation layers, which can save 50% on heating costs in winter. The roofs are equipped with reserved interfaces for photovoltaic panels, enabling a 200-square-meter house to generate up to 3,000 kWh of electricity annually, achieving energy self-sufficiency.

Regarding construction efficiency, the prefabricated houses are produced through factory assembly lines, dividing the reinforced concrete structure into standardized modules. On-site assembly is as simple as 'building blocks', with water pipes, electrical wiring, and interior decoration all completed in advance. Functional areas such as bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms are fully equipped. The construction period is significantly shortened and is not restricted by seasons or weather, allowing for year-round operations. The designed service life of the houses exceeds 70 years, supporting overall relocation or secondary disassembly and assembly, with high resource utilization.

In terms of economy and market performance, a set of 200-square-meter prefabricated houses costs approximately 200,000 RMB, including transportation and installation fees, highlighting a significant cost-effectiveness advantage. In the first quarter of 2024, China's prefabricated building exports grew by 45%, with Guangdong Customs reporting an export value of 1.4 billion RMB in the first four months, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%. Factories in the Pearl River Delta region have become the main suppliers. The reasons for their popularity include: high labor costs overseas, where prefabricated houses reduce construction difficulty and time; modular design meets personalized needs; and environmental performance complies with international standards.

In terms of application scenarios, prefabricated houses are suitable for overseas emergency housing, tourist resorts, construction in remote areas, and other scenarios. For example, they can quickly provide safe shelter in post-disaster reconstruction, flexibly deploy characteristic homestays in tourism projects, and achieve low-cost permanent housing construction in resource-scarce areas. As global demand for green buildings grows, the technological advantages and cost competitiveness of China's prefabricated houses will continue to drive their expansion in overseas markets.
