Admin September 24, 2026

The following is an introduction to public mobile toilets in Huzhou:

I. Mobile Toilet Rental Services Huzhou offers mobile toilet rental services for a variety of scenarios, covering temporary events and locations such as marathons, concerts, music festivals, and construction sites. There is a wide range of rental models available, including epidemic prevention center mobile toilets, portable mobile toilets, outdoor mobile toilets, electric mobile toilets, mobile toilets for high-rise buildings, eco-friendly mobile toilets, vacuum mobile toilets, foldable mobile toilets, large mobile toilets, and simple mobile toilets. These mobile toilets can be flexibly configured according to different needs. For example, eco-friendly mobile toilets may adopt water-saving or waterless flushing technologies, vacuum mobile toilets reduce odors through negative pressure systems, and foldable mobile toilets are convenient for transportation and rapid deployment, meeting the toilet needs in temporary and highly mobile scenarios.

II. 'Shared Toilet' Model Since 2026, Huzhou has been promoting the construction of 'shared toilets'. The first batch of 15 units, mainly government agencies and institutions, opened their internal restrooms to the public starting from March 1st. The opening hours are mostly synchronized with office hours. For example, the Wenbo Community Residents' Committee is open from 8:30-11:30 and 14:00-16:30 on weekdays, the Huzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions is open from 8:30-17:00, and the Huzhou South Taihu New Area Branch of the Huzhou Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has different opening hours for winter and summer. To facilitate citizens in finding these toilets, newly added locations are uniformly equipped with 'shared toilet' directional signs and public notice boards, and are gradually being added to the 'Huzhou Public Toilets' WeChat mini-program and Gaode Maps. As of now, the total number of 'shared toilets' in the city has reached 177, basically forming a 'five-minute toilet access circle' and effectively supplementing the coverage of public toilets.

III. Features and Functions of Public Toilets Public toilets in Huzhou are characterized by a large number, comprehensive functions, and strong environmental protection. Some residential areas have five public toilets within a 500-meter radius. All 116 sanitation public toilets in the central urban area have been comprehensively upgraded, and all 197 internal toilets of social units in the city are open to the public. Public toilets are equipped with green directional signs, and citizens can locate nearby toilets by scanning with their mobile phones. In terms of functions, in addition to basic toilet facilities, rest stations are set up for outdoor workers, providing emergency medicine, blood pressure monitors, power banks, microwaves, large refrigerators, TVs in rest areas, and air conditioners. In terms of management, each toilet is staffed by a dedicated person, and cleaning is carried out from 4:30-22:00 every day to maintain cleanliness. In terms of environmental protection technologies, some toilets use solar panels for power supply, rainwater collectors for water conservation, and are equipped with smart sensing systems to achieve efficient resource utilization.
