Hunan Prefabricated Assembly House

Admin September 18, 2026

Hunan prefabricated assembly houses are mainly reflected in the development of prefabricated green rural housing, featuring technical specifications, efficient construction, environmental friendliness, and policy support.

Technical Specifications and Systems: The Hunan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has released two standard atlases: the Atlas of Prefabricated Green Rural Housing in Hunan (Concrete Modular Structure) and the Atlas of Prefabricated Green Rural Housing in Hunan (Concrete Panel Structure). These atlases, based on the actual conditions of rural construction in Hunan, provide industrialized, standardized, green, and normalized technical support for the construction of prefabricated green rural housing. In terms of technical systems, the atlases select two types of prefabricated technical systems: concrete modular and panel. The concrete modular technical system features large-sized components, fast on-site installation, and simple and efficient construction, but it has high requirements for transportation and lifting. The concrete panel technical system has small-sized components, facilitating transportation and installation, with simple on-site operations and lower requirements for transportation roads.

Efficient Construction and Environmental Friendliness: Prefabricated green rural houses adopt a factory-prefabricated and on-site assembly model, transferring a significant amount of on-site work from traditional construction to factories. The main structure can be erected in just 3-10 days, greatly shortening the construction period. Meanwhile, the use of energy-saving and environmentally friendly new building materials provides excellent thermal insulation performance, reducing energy consumption for heating in winter and cooling in summer by more than 30% compared to ordinary brick-and-mortar rural houses, embodying the concept of environmental friendliness.

Policy Support and Industrial Development: In terms of policy support, Changsha City has proposed an incentive approach of "primarily self-financed by farmers, with enterprises reducing costs and the government providing rewards," and offers rewards and subsidies to eligible rural houses. As of 2024, Hunan Province has built more than 1,000 new prefabricated green rural houses, with the number of related enterprises increasing to 21. The province has set a goal of completing 30,000 constructions and achieving a production value of 15 billion yuan by 2026, demonstrating the broad prospects of prefabricated green rural houses in rural housing construction in Hunan.
