Hubei Container Mobile Toilet

Admin October 09, 2026

The Hubei container mobile toilet is a mobile sanitation facility centered around a corrugated steel plate box, integrating modules such as vacuum toilet systems, sewage treatment, and solar power supply. It features water conservation, environmental protection, and rapid deployment, making it suitable for construction sites, scenic spots, events, and other scenarios.

Structural and Modular Design

The box is welded from 1.5-2.5 mm thick corrugated steel plates, treated with hot-dip galvanizing for rust prevention. The top can bear several tons of weight, and the bottom is equipped with forklift slots and lifting points, eliminating the need for pre-embedded foundations and requiring only a level site for placement. Its modular construction pre-integrates the steel frame with water supply and drainage, ventilation, lighting, sewage, and other systems, enabling one-stop assembly in the factory for easy transportation and rapid deployment.

Sanitation Unit and Water-Saving Technology

The core employs a vacuum toilet system, which uses a vacuum pump to generate approximately 0.6 atmospheres of negative pressure, rapidly drawing feces and a small amount of water (0.5-1 liters per use) into the sewage collection tank. This achieves a water-saving rate of over 80% and prevents odor escape through negative pressure. The sewage collection tank has a capacity of 200-500 liters and requires regular cleaning with a sewage suction truck. Some models use gravity flow technology, but the vacuum system is more water-efficient and adaptable.

Sewage Treatment Modes

Three solutions are provided based on usage scenarios:

  1. Septic Tank Mode: Suitable for long-term rentals (over one week), reducing solids through anaerobic fermentation;
  2. Microbial Degradation Mode: Ideal for scenic spots with high environmental requirements, where bacteria convert feces into harmless liquid within 24 hours;
  3. Off-Site Transportation Mode: For short-term events, sewage suction trucks perform regular suction, offering flexibility and efficiency.

Supporting Systems

  • Water Supply System: A 200-500 liter clean water tank is installed on the roof, with a water level sensor automatically controlling the pump. An alarm sounds and flushing pauses when the liquid level is too low.
  • Power System: A combination of "solar panels (200 watts) + batteries + inverters" generates 0.7 kWh of electricity with 3.5 hours of daily sunlight, sufficient for over 30 vacuum pump operations; mains power or generators can be connected on cloudy days.
  • Sewage System: An electric sewage valve connects to a suction pipe, pumping the contents of the sewage collection tank into a sewage suction truck with one button press.

Ventilation and Deodorization

An axial flow fan is installed on the roof of the box, forming negative pressure ventilation in conjunction with an activated carbon filter box. Some high-end models are equipped with ultraviolet disinfection lamps, which automatically activate during unoccupied periods to inhibit bacterial growth.

Rental Services and Costs

Service providers calculate the number of toilet stalls based on the number of users, duration, and site conditions (such as power supply and sewage pipelines), following international standards (1 stall per 200 people, or 1 stall per 150 people if urinals are included). For example, renting 4 container toilet stalls for a 50-person construction site for one month, transportation fees account for 15% of the total cost, cleaning service fees 25%, sewage treatment fees 40%, and box usage fees 20%. This saves over 80% of the upfront investment compared to building temporary toilets and eliminates the need for site restoration.

Hidden Constraints

  • Site Slope: Requires no more than 3 degrees; otherwise, it affects the flow of liquid in the vacuum pipeline, leading to solid accumulation.
  • Foundation Requirements: The ground must withstand a full-load pressure of approximately 0.6 tons per square meter. Ordinary cement floors or compacted gravel layers are sufficient, while muddy soft soil or uncompacted backfill can cause box sinking or damage to sewage pipe connections.
