Huangshi Environmental Protection Mobile Toilet Design
The core of the design of Huangshi's environmental protection mobile toilet is reflected in five aspects: materials, assembly, circulation system, customization, and environmental protection experience:

1. Material selection balances functionality and lightweight design
The wall adopts a 'metal frame + polyurethane sandwich panel' structure. The metal frame (mostly galvanized steel) provides mechanical support to ensure no deformation during transportation and lifting. The polyurethane sandwich panel has a density only 1/10 of that of traditional concrete, but its compressive strength meets daily use requirements, and it also has insulation, sound insulation, and waterproof functions. The floor is laid with anti-slip fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and its microporous structure can quickly drain away accumulated water and inhibit bacterial growth. The roof adopts a curved design, combined with polyethylene waterproof membranes, guiding rainwater to flow naturally to both sides and reducing the corrosion of sealing parts by accumulated water.
2. Assembly logic emphasizes modularity and efficiency
Following the principle of 'reverse disassembly', the public toilet is divided into six modules: a base, four wall panels, and a top cover. Stainless steel male-female locks and rubber sealing strips are set at the module interfaces. During installation, no welding or bolts are required, and they are fixed only by gravity and lock engagement. The assembly time for a single toilet can be controlled within 30 minutes. The gap between the wall panels and the base is strictly controlled within 2 millimeters to ensure that the sealing strips effectively isolate odors and insects and ants.
3. The circulation system enables resource-based treatment
- Foam sealing + microbial degradation: The foaming device generates high-density foam to cover the toilet, reducing the flushing volume by more than 85%. After the excreta enter the fecal storage tank, anaerobic bacteria (such as methanogens) decompose the organic matter, producing biogas slurry (which can be used as liquid fertilizer) and biogas residue (which is converted into soil conditioner through high-temperature composting). There is no need for an external sewage discharge pipeline, and only the bacterial agent needs to be replaced every three months.
- Packaged toilet: The bacteria decompose feces into carbon dioxide, water, and inorganic salts. Urine is treated through evaporation or crystallization units. Solar or resistance heaters heat the urine to 40-50°C. The water vapor is condensed and recovered as fresh water, and the salt and urea crystals are replaced regularly.
4. Customized design adapts to diverse scenarios
Adjust the size, function, and appearance according to the usage scenario: In scenic spots, landscape elements can be integrated to enhance cultural recognition. On construction sites, the space can be enlarged to meet the needs of multiple people. For temporary event venues, a modular structure is adopted for quick assembly and disassembly.
5. Environmental protection materials enhance the user experience
Waterproof and moisture-proof polymer materials are used, equipped with water-saving flushing systems. Some products integrate solar power supply devices to reduce energy consumption and can be customized with garbage classification and recycling functions to further strengthen environmental protection benefits.
