Huangshi Dry Toilet Mobile Toilet

Admin September 28, 2026

The mobile toilet solutions for traditional dry toilets in Huangshi mainly include two types: water-circulation/environmentally friendly degradable mobile toilets and packaged toilets, both of which solve sanitation, sewage discharge, and odor problems through technical means.

1. Water-circulation/Environmentally Friendly Degradable Mobile Toilets These mobile toilets are provided by formal leasing companies and adopt water-circulation or environmentally friendly degradation technologies to completely avoid the sanitation hazards of traditional dry toilets. Taking the rape flower festival in Yangxin County as an example, the leased mobile toilets are all equipped with deodorization systems and mosquito prevention devices. They decompose odor molecules through physical or chemical means and use mosquito nets or repellents to block mosquito breeding, ensuring a clean environment in the activity area. Their core technologies include:

  • Water-circulation system: The sewage is purified through a circulation and filtration device to achieve water reuse and reduce water consumption.
  • Environmentally friendly degradable materials: Degradable toilet paper and cleaning products are used to avoid the accumulation of solid waste.
  • Closed sewage discharge design: Excrement is collected through sealed pipes and regularly transported by professional vehicles to prevent soil or water source pollution from leakage. These toilets are suitable for short-term large-scale events (such as festivals and exhibitions) or temporary construction sites. The leasing cost is relatively low, and they can be quickly deployed and dismantled.

2. Packaged Toilets Packaged toilets achieve “zero discharge” and “odor-free” treatment of excrement through microbial degradation and solid-liquid separation technologies, without the need for external sewage pipes, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use. Their core mechanisms include:

  • Microbial degradation: The equipment is equipped with a special microbial culture tank inside. The organic matter in feces is decomposed into carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of inorganic salts, and the volume of solid residues is reduced by about 90%.
  • Solid-liquid separation: Urine enters an evaporation or crystallization unit through a separate pipe. The liquid part is further reduced in volume through natural evaporation or crystallization.
  • Low maintenance requirements: Only regular replenishment of microbial agents (usually once every 3-6 months) and cleaning of solid residues are required, without the need for frequent sewage pumping, resulting in low operating costs. These toilets are suitable for remote scenic spots, mountain hiking trails, or areas without municipal sewage systems. Although the initial purchase cost is relatively high, they offer significant cost-effectiveness in the long run.

Selection Suggestions: For short-term events, water-circulation mobile toilets are preferred to balance cost and efficiency; for long-term outdoor scenarios, packaged toilets are recommended to achieve a balance between environmental protection and low maintenance.
