How to Write the Process of Prefabricated Housing

Admin September 18, 2026

The process of prefabricated housing can be written in eight stages: preliminary preparation, production, transportation and storage, on-site assembly, decoration, construction quality control, construction schedule arrangement, and cost control.

Preliminary Preparation Stage: First, clarify the project background. Due to the shortcomings of traditional construction methods, prefabricated housing has been widely used due to its advantages such as energy conservation, environmental protection, and rapid construction. Then, conduct design planning to determine the specifications and styles of various parts of the house according to requirements, such as the various types of prefabricated houses chosen by different bloggers. At the same time, prepare the construction site, including site leveling, setting up temporary facilities, and ensuring the smoothness of construction roads; organize the construction team and conduct technical training; and purchase prefabricated components and auxiliary materials according to design requirements.

Production Stage: Taking prefabricated concrete houses as an example, various parts of the house are prefabricated in the factory, and standardized production is adopted to ensure quality.

Transportation and Storage Stage: Use appropriate transportation tools to ensure the safe transportation of prefabricated components, such as shipping prefabricated houses from Chinese factories in containers to the land of American buyers. Stack the components in order in designated areas at the construction site.

On-site Assembly Stage: First, carry out foundation construction, level and compact the foundation, make foundation formwork, and pour concrete; then assemble components such as walls, roofs, and floors in sequence according to design requirements, using bolts, welding, etc., to ensure firm connections.

Decoration Stage: Interior decoration includes wall, floor, and ceiling decoration; exterior decoration covers the decoration of exterior facilities such as doors, windows, stairs, and balconies.

Construction Quality Control: Strictly control raw materials to ensure they meet design requirements and quality standards; carry out construction in strict accordance with processes and quality standards; and conduct acceptance of concealed works.

Construction Schedule Arrangement: Foundation construction is expected to take 15 days, transportation and storage of prefabricated components are expected to take 5 days, assembly of prefabricated components is expected to take 20 days, interior and exterior decoration is expected to take 30 days, and completion acceptance is expected to take 5 days, with a total expected construction period of 85 days.

Cost Control: In terms of material costs, purchase strictly according to design requirements to avoid waste; in terms of labor costs, reasonably arrange construction personnel to improve construction efficiency.
