How to Use Nearby Portable Toilets

Admin October 08, 2026

The method of using nearby portable toilets depends on their type. Common types include eco-friendly portable toilets and independent portable toilets, as detailed below:

Eco-friendly Portable Toilets

These toilets are designed with a focus on humanization, featuring spacious and bright interiors. When using them, close the door tightly to ensure privacy and prevent odor from spreading. They typically come with a seat cushion, allowing users to choose between sitting or squatting based on personal preference. As eco-friendly portable toilets often employ water-saving or ecological treatment technologies, manual flushing is not required after use (some are equipped with foot-operated flushing mechanisms), and the system automatically completes the cleaning process.

Independent Portable Toilets

These toilets require prior installation and commissioning. The usage steps are as follows:

  1. Installation and Connection

    • Place the toilet in a stable position and push open the bottom wheel locks to secure it and prevent movement.
    • Connect the sewage pipe: Attach one end of the配套 (matching) hose to the toilet's sewage outlet and the other end to a floor drain or temporary sewage tank, ensuring it is fully inserted into the drainage outlet to prevent odor leakage.
    • Connect water and electricity: Link the water inlet pipe to a clean water source, open the valve to fill with water; plug in the power cord and check if the power supply is stable.
    • Seal inspection: Confirm that all connections (especially the sewage pipe) are sealed without leaks to avoid sewage overflow.
  2. Functional Operation

    • Start the system: Press the power switch on the control panel, and the indicator light will illuminate, indicating that it is in standby mode.
    • Flush after use: Press the flush button marked with a water droplet icon, and the built-in water pump will draw water from the freshwater tank into the toilet bowl to complete the flushing. Some models support dual-flush (a small amount of water for urination and a large amount for defecation).
    • Additional functions: If equipped with a heated seat, the temperature can be adjusted to enhance comfort in winter; the deodorization function usually operates automatically and can also be activated manually.
  3. Maintenance and Cleaning

    • Sewage tank handling: When the full-level alarm sounds, turn off the power, unplug the sewage pipe, horizontally pull out the sewage tank (avoid tilting to prevent leakage), pour the sewage into a designated drainage point, and rinse the inside of the tank with clean water. Monthly disinfection with a dedicated cleaner is required, focusing on cleaning fiber residues around the shredding blades.
    • Freshwater tank maintenance: It is recommended to clean it once a week to prevent algae growth from clogging the water pipes.
    • Usage prohibitions: Avoid disposing of items other than toilet paper (such as feminine hygiene products and diapers) to prevent pipe blockage.
    • Freeze protection: In cold environments, empty the water tanks to prevent damage to the water pump when the water temperature drops below 0°C.
    • Long-term storage: Empty all water tanks and keep the lids open for ventilation and drying.
    • Troubleshooting: If flushing fails, first check the freshwater tank level and power connection, then confirm if the sewage pipe is bent or blocked.
