How to Use a Mobile Toilet for Puppies
Here's how to use a mobile toilet for puppies:

Clean the Placement Area Thoroughly clean the area where the mobile toilet will be placed every day. First, wipe the floor with a regular mop, then soak the mop in a mixed solution of disinfectant and toilet water, and wipe the area again, paying special attention to corners and crevices where dirt tends to accumulate. After cleaning, spray the surface with a pet-specific deodorizer to completely eliminate any lingering odors. This step prevents the puppy from being confused by residual odors from other areas when choosing where to relieve itself.
Fix the Toilet Position Place the mobile toilet in the designated, cleaned area, ensuring that only the toilet's own scent (such as that of puppy pads or attractant) is present in that area. Other rooms should be kept free of the smell of excrement. Puppies rely on their sense of smell to locate their toilet area, and if there are other odors interfering in the environment, they may refuse to use the toilet.
Use with Puppy Pads Lay pet-specific puppy pads or diapers in the interlayer of the mobile toilet, making sure the pads completely cover the bottom of the toilet to absorb urine and prevent leakage. Replace the pads regularly (it is recommended to do so 1-2 times a day, or adjust according to the amount of excrement) to keep the toilet dry and clean. If the pads are not replaced promptly and develop a strong odor, the puppy may refuse to use the toilet due to its aversion to the smell.
Guidance and Training
- Attractant Assistance: For puppies that have not yet mastered定点排泄 (relieving themselves in a designated spot), you can spray a pet excrement attractant on the puppy pads to guide them using the scent.
- Positive Reinforcement Training: When the puppy relieves itself correctly in the toilet, immediately give verbal praise or a treat to reinforce the memory of the behavior. If the puppy relieves itself in the wrong place, clean it up promptly and spray a deodorizer, avoiding punishment, which could cause anxiety and lead to training failure.
- Avoid Frequent Moving: Once the toilet position is fixed, try to minimize moving it. Puppies need to establish a conditioned reflex by remembering the location and scent, and frequent changes in position will interfere with their learning process.
Long-term Maintenance Regularly clean the mobile toilet itself (such as once a week), wiping the surface with a mild pet disinfectant to avoid residual chemicals irritating the puppy's skin. If the puppy refuses to use the toilet, check whether the pads are being replaced promptly and whether the toilet is clean, or reinitiate the guidance training.
