How to Turn on a Mobile Air Conditioner in the Bathroom
The steps for turning on a mobile air conditioner in the bathroom are as follows:

I. Installation Preparation
Choose an Appropriate Location
Place the mobile air conditioner in a well-ventilated and level area of the bathroom. Ensure there is at least 20 centimeters (50 centimeters for some models) of space around the unit to allow for air circulation and hot air exhaust. If the bathroom is near a window or door, prioritize such locations for installing the exhaust hose.Connect the Exhaust Hose
Attach one end of the flexible telescopic exhaust hose to the exhaust port on the back of the air conditioner using the rotating clasp. Extend the other end through the window or wall opening to the outside. Keep the exhaust hose straight during installation to avoid excessive bending, which can affect the efficiency of hot air exhaust and reduce cooling performance.Check Power Supply and Drainage
- Power Supply: Use an independent 220V socket (avoid power strips). The plug cord is typically 1.5 meters long, and the socket should be within 1.5 meters of the unit to ensure stable voltage (low voltage may prevent the unit from starting).
- Drainage: If the air conditioner uses a water tank for drainage, ensure the tank is properly installed and leak-free. If using an external drainage hose, connect one end to the air conditioner's drainage port and place the other end at a drainage location.
II. Power-On Operation
Connect to Power
Plug the power cord into a suitable socket and observe whether the air conditioner's indicator light turns on to confirm stable voltage.Start the Air Conditioner
- Body Button Start: Locate the touch button marked "On/Off" or with a power icon on the control panel at the top or front of the air conditioner and press it lightly to turn on the unit.
- Remote Control Start: Ensure the remote control has sufficient battery power. Aim the remote control at the infrared receiver window on the front of the air conditioner (usually near the display) and press the "On/Off" button within 8 meters and without obstructions. Some models require pairing the remote control with the air conditioner signal (press the air conditioner's "On/Off" button and then press the remote control's "Power On" button within 10-20 seconds).
- Mobile App Start: Download the official "Midea Home" app or use the built-in "Smart Remote Control" function on your phone to bind the device and operate the air conditioner.
III. Mode and Parameter Settings
Select Cooling Mode
After powering on, the unit may default to fan mode or the mode it was in before the last shutdown. Continuously press the "Mode" button (on the body or remote control) until the snowflake icon or "Cool" appears on the display.Set the Temperature
Press the temperature "+" or "-" button to adjust the target temperature. For summer, it is recommended to set it around 26°C. The temperature adjustment range is usually between 16°C and 30°C.Adjust the Fan Speed
Press the "Fan Speed" button to switch between low, medium, high, and automatic fan speed settings. The automatic setting will adjust the fan speed based on the difference between the room temperature and the set temperature.
