How to Store Mobile Toilet Tents
Admin October 08, 2026
The following are the storage methods for mobile toilet tents and outdoor mobile toilet equipment:

Steps for Storing Mobile Toilet Tents
- Initial Folding: Lay the tent flat on a dry, flat surface, ensuring there are no wrinkles or foreign objects stuck inside. Grasp the centerline on both sides of the tent with your hands and slowly fold it towards the middle to form a long strip. Keep the surface of the tent flat during this step to avoid difficulties in subsequent operations due to uneven folding.
- Securing the Bottom and Top: Step on one end of the tent's bottom (such as near the ground stakes or fixing points) with your foot to prevent the tent from sliding. At the same time, hold the top end of the tent with both hands and apply downward pressure to make the top and bottom fit together. Maintain even force during this step to avoid local overstressing that could deform the tent material.
- Cross-Folding and Pressing Down: Grab the sides of the tent that have been folded down with both hands and cross-fold them towards the middle (similar to an 'X' shape), while continuously applying downward pressure to further compress the tent. Pay attention to the folding angle in this step to ensure that both sides of the tent are symmetrical and avoid excessive volume after storage due to misalignment.
- Top Storage and Adjustment: Release the top end that was previously stepped on with your foot and fold it inward. Due to the tent's structural design, the material will naturally fold due to inertia, without the need for excessive force. If there is any jamming or improper folding during the process, pause the operation and readjust the folding angle. Do not use brute force to pull to avoid damaging the tent frame or waterproof coating.
- Placing in the Storage Bag: Gently place the fully folded tent into a dedicated storage bag, ensuring that the edges of the tent are aligned with the opening of the storage bag to prevent sharp parts from tearing the bag. Keep the storage bag dry to prevent the tent from getting damp and moldy.
Key Points for Storing Outdoor Mobile Toilet Equipment (Non-tent Types)
- Drying Treatment: After use, thoroughly clean the inside of the equipment and place it in a well-ventilated area to dry to avoid rusting of metal parts or aging of plastic parts due to residual moisture.
- Folding Toilets: Follow the instructions in the product manual to fold the toilet seat, toilet bowl, and other components in sequence and lock the buckles. Align the buckle positions during folding to ensure a stable structure and prevent it from coming apart during transportation.
- Packing Toilets: Place the folded toilet body into a dedicated storage bag, taking care not to exceed the weight limit indicated on the product. If the equipment is equipped with waste disposal bags, seal them separately and place them in the storage bag to prevent leakage and contamination of other items.
Precautions: Before storage, check whether the tent or equipment has any damage (such as cracks or broken frames). If so, repair or replace it in a timely manner. For long-term storage, it is recommended to place the tent or equipment in a dry, light-shielded environment to extend its service life.
