How to Store Mobile Tent Toilets

The steps for storing mobile tent toilets are as follows:

Step 1: Initial Folding
Fold the toilet tent flat as a whole to ensure the main body of the tent is in a long strip shape. During this step, make sure there are no debris or sharp objects on the surface of the tent to avoid scratching the fabric when folding. If the tent comes with support rods, disassemble them or retract them to the designated positions first (for some models, the support rods can be folded simultaneously with the tent, and operation should be carried out according to the product instructions).

Step 2: Foot-Fixed and Longitudinal Compression
Step on one end of the bottom of the tent (usually the ground-contacting surface) with your foot, and at the same time, hold the top end of the tent with both hands and apply downward pressure to compress the tent longitudinally. Then, step on the upper and lower ends of the compressed tent together with your foot to form an 'overlapping' state. In this step, the folding tightness can be controlled by adjusting the stepping force to avoid excessive force that may deform the tent frame.
Alternative Method: Some tutorials suggest stepping on the semi-circular structure at the bottom of the tent (such as the edge of the tent bottom), pressing the top down to fit against the bottom, and then using your hands to grab both sides and push them back to form a more compact folded layer.

Step 3: Lateral Cross-Folding
Hold the middle positions of both sides of the folded tent with both hands, fold the two sides towards the middle in a cross-folding manner, and at the same time, continue to apply downward pressure to further compress the tent. When folding, keep both sides symmetrical to avoid重心偏移 (center-of-gravity offset) caused by excessive folding on one side. If the tent is large in size, the folding can be completed in stages, and the folding flatness should be checked after each folding.

Step 4: Top Retraction and Detail Adjustment
Release the top end that was initially stepped on, and retract it into the interior of the folded layer. If there is misalignment or jamming during the retraction process, slowly adjust the angle and try again. Do not use brute force to pull, as this may damage the tent seams or frame connections. For some models of tents, there are dedicated storage buckles or Velcro at the top, which should be fixed according to the design.

Step 5: Placing into the Storage Bag
Gently place the fully folded tent into the matching storage bag, ensuring that the main body of the tent is completely contained and there are no exposed parts. If the storage bag has drawstrings or zippers, close them tightly to prevent the tent from coming loose. After storage, check whether the storage bag is well-sealed to prevent moisture or dust from entering.

Precautions:

1. Thoroughly clean the inner and outer surfaces of the tent before storage to remove dirt, water stains, and other contaminants to prevent mildew;
2. Avoid folding the tent in high-temperature or humid environments. For long-term storage, it is recommended to place it in a dry and well-ventilated place;
3. If the tent has not been used for a long time, take it out regularly to check its folding state to prevent fabric adhesion or frame rusting.
