How to Repair Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

The repair of mobile toilets requires targeted handling based on different components, as detailed below:

I. Overall Structure and Appearance Maintenance

  1. Box Deformation or Cracking If small cracks occur due to external impact or long-term uneven stress, they can be repaired using specialized plastic welding materials. If severe deformation or cracking affects structural stability, the entire box or related components need to be replaced. The repair cost varies depending on the extent of damage and materials used, potentially ranging from several hundred to over a thousand yuan.
  2. Door Lock and Hinge Failures Regularly applying lubricant to the hinges and lock cores can delay rusting and maintain smooth operation. If the internal spring of the lock fails or the structure is damaged, it is recommended to replace the entire lock set directly.
  3. Blocked Ventilation Openings The top ventilation openings should be inspected regularly to remove leaves, dust, or insect nests, ensuring smooth air circulation.

II. Sanitation System and Flushing Devices

  1. Manual or Foot-Operated Flushing Valve Failures Common issues include failure to rebound after pressing, weak water flow, or complete lack of water flow, usually caused by spring failure inside the valve, aging of the seal ring, or blockage by scale. During repair, the water inlet valve should be closed, the flushing valve disassembled, scale cleaned, and aging seal rings or springs replaced. If the valve body is cracked, it needs to be replaced entirely.
  2. Automatic Induction Flushing Device Problems If there is no flushing or continuous flushing, first check the power supply (e.g., confirm battery level if battery-powered) and whether the infrared induction window is blocked by dirt. If the issue persists, it may be a control board or solenoid valve failure, requiring professional assistance.
  3. Storage Tank and Pipeline Leaks Inspect the tank and connecting pipelines for cracks or loose connections. Minor leaks can be repaired using waterproof sealing tape or specialized glue. If the tank has significant cracks, it is recommended to replace it with a new one.

III. Waste Collection and Disposal System

Taking packing-type toilets as an example, if packing is incomplete or impossible, check whether the biodegradable film is exhausted or if the mechanical structure is jammed, and promptly replace the film or adjust the mechanical components.

IV. Key Areas for Daily Inspection

Regularly inspect the appearance and structure, water supply and drainage systems, sanitation facilities, ventilation systems, electrical systems, and deodorization systems to ensure structural stability, intact components, unobstructed pipelines, good ventilation and deodorization effects, and avoid electrical leakage risks.
