How to Quickly Paint Oil on Container Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

If the core issue is quickly applying protective oil (such as anti-rust oil) to the surface of container houses, no specific method directly targeting 'quick oil painting' has been found yet, but efficiency can be improved by optimizing the operation process. If the issue actually involves painting oil after treating oil stains on container houses, refer to oil stain cleaning methods first and then follow the regular oil painting process.

For Quick Application of Protective Oil

  • Preparation: Before painting, thoroughly inspect the surface of the container house and remove impurities such as dust, rust, and old paint. This can be done by sanding with sandpaper or cleaning with a wire brush to ensure a flat and clean surface, which avoids impurities affecting the quality of the oil painting and reduces rework, indirectly improving the painting speed. At the same time, prepare suitable protective oil and painting tools, such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns. Choose tools according to the area and structural characteristics of the container house; rollers or spray guns are more efficient for large areas.
  • Planning the Painting Order: Paint in a certain order, such as starting from one end of the container house and gradually moving forward in one direction to avoid missed or repeated painting. For hard-to-reach areas like corners and edges, first use a small brush for detailed treatment and then use large-area tools for painting. This ensures comprehensive and even painting and reduces the time for subsequent repairs.
  • Controlling the Paint Thickness and Speed: Pay attention to controlling the thickness of the oil when painting; it should not be too thick or too thin. Too thick may prolong the drying time and lead to problems such as running and bubbling; too thin may not achieve good protective effects. At the same time, maintain an appropriate painting speed, neither too fast to cause uneven painting nor too slow to affect overall efficiency.

If Involving Oil Stain Treatment Before Painting

  • Oil Stain Cleaning: Chemical cleaning can be used to remove oil stains. Substances containing chemical components such as alkalis, acids, neutral agents, and organic solvents can be used, for example, Kemeiao neutral container cleaner. Choose an appropriate cleaner according to the nature of the oil stains and operate according to the instructions to effectively remove oil stains from the surface of the container house. Steam cleaning can also be used, utilizing the impact and solubility of high-temperature steam to quickly remove oil stains and being environmentally friendly.
  • Drying Treatment: After cleaning the oil stains, ensure that the surface of the container house is completely dry; otherwise, it will affect the quality and effect of the oil painting. Drying equipment or natural ventilation can be used to accelerate drying.
  • Subsequent Oil Painting: Follow the above method for quickly applying protective oil.
