How to Process Mobile Toilets
Admin September 22, 2026
There are mainly two methods for processing mobile toilets: using a water storage tank and a pallet, and using a water storage bucket. Details are as follows:

Processing Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet
- Bottom Structure Construction: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet for easy movement. Place the water storage tank retrieved from the garbage station to provide a basic container for subsequent modifications.
- Tank Modification: Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top of the water storage tank to remove the top, forming an open tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on the first one, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws to increase the interior space of the toilet.
- Door Opening Creation: Cut a rectangular opening in the stacked water storage tanks to form a door for easy access.
- Internal Facility Installation: Drill a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow, and connect it to a water pipe for sealing. Install a toilet and secure it. Fix water pipes on the wall with clips and install a faucet, connecting a drainage pipe outlet below. Install a stainless steel basin as a sink, connecting it to the toilet tank's water inlet pipe and shower hose. Install a toilet seat and a shower head made from a water pipe to meet basic usage needs.
- Door Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate a door using wooden boards and hinges, and install a door handle to ensure privacy in the toilet.
Processing Using a Water Storage Bucket
- Water Storage Bucket Treatment: Use an angle grinder to split the water storage bucket in half to serve as the main part of the toilet.
- Bottom Structure Construction: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board. Secure wooden strips to the upper side of the bucket with self-tapping screws to increase height, providing space for subsequent installation of other facilities.
- Door and Wall Construction: Cut an opening on the side of the water storage bucket for the door. Install sponge strips on both sides of the door opening to form a door frame. Insert plastic soft boards between the wooden strips to form an elevated wall, enhancing the stability of the toilet.
- Roof Installation: Place the upper half of the water storage bucket on top of the wooden strips to form a roof, providing shelter from wind and rain.
- Surface Treatment and Door Fabrication: Apply white waterproof paint to the wooden strips to prevent them from rotting due to moisture. Fabricate a simple door using foam strips and discarded honeycomb wooden boards.
- Drainage and Water Facility Installation: Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain. Drill holes on the side and bottom of a plastic bucket and connect them with direct fittings. Place the plastic bucket on the roof to form a small water storage device. Connect a water pipe to make a bath heater, install a tee below the water inlet pipe and connect it to a shower head. Place a toilet and install a tank, securing it with glass glue. Connect a drainage pipe to the sewage bucket. Connect a water pipe horizontally from the tee on the outlet pipe and extend it to the door as the water inlet pipe for the sink, installing relevant components.
