How to Manufacture Mobile Toilets
Admin October 12, 2026
There are various ways to manufacture mobile toilets, with common methods involving the assembly of water storage buckets or tanks combined with other materials. These can be specifically divided into the following two manufacturing methods and classification descriptions:

I. Manufacturing Using Water Storage Buckets
Basic Structure Construction
- Use an angle grinder to split the water storage bucket vertically in the middle, creating two half-bucket structures. Install universal wheels at the four corners of the wooden base for easy mobility.
- Increase the height of the bucket body using wooden strips and self-tapping screws, and cut rectangular openings on the sides as entrances. Install sponge strips at the entrance to form a door frame, embed plastic soft panels to create lightweight walls, and use the upper half of the bucket body directly as the roof.
Functional System Installation
- Drainage System: Drill holes at the bottom of the bucket to install drainage pipes, forming floor drains; drill holes on the sides to connect interfaces and attach external plastic buckets as small water storage devices for collecting sewage.
- Sanitary Facilities: Use water pipes to make a simple bath heater bracket, install a toilet and water tank, and connect the drainage pipe to the sewage bucket. Extend the water pipe to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the sink to achieve basic water usage functions.
II. Manufacturing Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets
Mobile Chassis and Tank Processing
- Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet base and place recycled water storage tanks. Use an angle grinder to cut the top of the tank to form an open tank, and stack two tanks together and secure them with self-tapping screws to increase internal space.
- Cut rectangular openings on the outer frame and sides of the tank as entrances, and drill holes in the internal floor to install drainage elbows and pipes to ensure smooth sewage drainage.
Sanitary Facilities and Detail Refinement
- Place the toilet and secure it with glue, install a faucet and a sink made of a stainless steel basin, and connect the toilet water tank and shower hose. Install a spray-type showerhead and a toilet seat to enhance user comfort.
- Make a door using wooden boards and hinges, and install a door handle to complete the enclosed structure. Some designs may add lighting equipment or ventilation devices to enhance functionality.
III. Classification of Mobile Toilets
- By Structural Form: Divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (combination of multiple units).
- By Mobility Method: Includes lifting/handling types (requiring mechanical assistance for movement) and powered/trailer types (with their own power or towable).
- By Sewage Treatment Method: Divided into water-flush types (requiring a water source), waterless suction types (relying on vacuum suction), and recirculating water-flush types (sewage is purified and recycled).
When manufacturing, choose the appropriate type based on the usage scenario (such as scenic spots or construction sites), and ensure that the structure is stable, drainage is smooth, and it complies with environmental protection requirements.
