How to Manufacture Mobile Toilets

Admin September 22, 2026

There are various ways to manufacture mobile toilets, and different plans can be selected according to materials, structures, and functional requirements. Here are two typical manufacturing cases and classification descriptions:

I. Manufacturing a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank

  1. Basic Structure Construction

    • Split a water storage tank in half lengthwise with an angle grinder to form two half-tanks as the main structure.
    • Install universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to ensure mobility; increase the height of the tank body with wooden strips and self-tapping screws, and cut out a doorway on the side.
    • Use sponge strips to build a door frame, embed plastic soft boards to form lightweight walls, cover the top with the upper half of the water storage tank as the roof, and apply waterproof paint on the surface to enhance durability.
  2. Functional System Installation

    • Drill a hole at the bottom of the tank to install a drain pipe to form a floor drain, and connect a direct joint on the side for sewage discharge; install a toilet, water tank, bathroom heater, and showerhead inside, and the drain pipe needs to be connected to an independent sewage tank.
    • Pay attention to sealing treatment, such as applying sealant at the joint between the toilet and the floor to prevent leakage.

II. Manufacturing a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

  1. Mobile Frame Design

    • Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet to form a mobile base; after placing the water storage tank, use an angle grinder to cut out an opening tank body along the top marking line.
    • Stack two opening tank bodies, fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws, and cut rectangular openings on the tank body and the outer frame as doorways.
  2. Internal Facility Configuration

    • Drill a hole in the internal floor to install a drain elbow and a water pipe, fix the toilet and apply sealant; fix the water pipe with wall clips, install a faucet and a stainless steel sink below.
    • Connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet tank and the shower hose, install a showerhead and a toilet seat; connect the frame of the water storage tank to a wooden board with hinges as the door, and install a door handle.

III. Classification Criteria for Mobile Toilets

  1. By Structural Form

    • Single Structure: Designed as an independent unit, suitable for small-scale scenarios.
    • Composite Structure: Modular combination, can be expanded into multiple toilet stalls or additional functional areas.
  2. By Mobility Method

    • Hoisting and Handling Type: Relies on mechanical equipment for overall handling.
    • Power and Trailer Type: Equipped with a power system or can be towed for travel.
  3. By Sewage Treatment Method

    • Water Flush and Waterless Flush Suction Type: Relies on water for flushing or vacuum suction for sewage discharge.
    • Circulating Water Flush Type: Achieves water resource recycling through biodegradation or physical filtration.

When manufacturing, select the appropriate type according to the usage scenario (such as scenic spots and construction sites), and ensure that the structure is stable and the sewage system complies with regulations to balance practicality and environmental protection.
