How to Make Prefabricated House Lines

Admin September 19, 2026

There are three main methods for making prefabricated house lines: cement mortar production, cement GRC component production, and EPS line production.

Cement Mortar Production

Use a mold to press onto the cement mortar, shaping the desired line profile through the mold's shape. After pressing, use a trowel to polish the wall surface. This method allows for the rapid creation of various shapes and patterns, effectively improving construction efficiency. It is suitable for scenarios where the line shapes are relatively simple and the production cycle is short.

Cement GRC Component Production

Mainly involves making house lines by fixing them with expansion bolts and welding. GRC components have high strength and durability, meeting the architectural needs of structures requiring high stability. However, this production method is relatively complex, requiring professional welding techniques and equipment, and demanding a high level of skill from workers during construction.

EPS Line Production

  • Production Process: First, place the raw material, polystyrene, into a mold to prefabricate large modules. Then, place these modules on a cutting line and use computer numerical control to adjust the cutting wires in advance for cutting into various shapes, enabling the production of eaves lines, window casing lines, waistline beam supports, Roman columns, column base lines, and other shapes. After cutting, check the material quality through resilience. Factory workers then wrap fiberglass mesh around the polystyrene boards. After wrapping the mesh, use a machine to apply mortar, place it on a pre-prepared mortar application machine, and after mortar application, place it on a shelf to dry for two days before use. This production method allows for the design and cutting of various sizes and shapes as needed, offering high flexibility.
  • Installation Process:
    • Base Treatment: Remove dust, oil stains, and release agents from the wall surface to expose a solid plaster layer; if there are micro-cracks on the wall, first apply a thin layer of anti-crack mortar.
    • Line Adhesion: Adhesion methods such as dot adhesion, strip adhesion, and dot-surface adhesion can be used. During adhesion, two people should cooperate, with one pressing the line and the other using a straightedge to level it, ensuring an error of ≤1mm in one-time forming.
    • Reinforcement and Protection: Immediately after adhesion, fix it with φ4×30mm plastic anchors, with a spacing of 600mm and ≤1200mm between fixed points; cut the exposed parts into 15mm 'mushroom heads' and cover them with patented anti-crack mortar.
    • Acceptance: Observe from 5m away; the lines should be free of ripples, misalignments, and color differences; gently tap with your hand; a clear sound indicates hollowness and requires rework; measure the flatness with a 2m straightedge, and it passes if ≤2mm.
