How to Make Prefabricated House Beams

Admin September 19, 2026

The production process of prefabricated house beams mainly includes design drawing and preliminary preparation, steel bar processing and binding, formwork fabrication, concrete pouring and vibration, curing and demolding, lifting and transportation, etc.

Design drawing and preliminary preparation: Conduct various preparatory work before prefabrication according to the design drawings, including fabricating the outermost structure, clarifying key parameters such as the size, shape, and reinforcement of the prefabricated beams, and providing an accurate basis for subsequent construction.

Steel bar processing and binding: Process the steel bars required for the prefabricated beams, covering processes such as cutting, bending, and welding, to ensure that the shape and size of the steel bars meet the design requirements. When binding the steel bars, use auxiliary tools such as guide bar clamps to ensure the accurate position and spacing of the steel bars. Some projects introduce intelligent steel bar processing equipment to realize real-time uploading of key process parameters to the engineering cloud platform, improving processing accuracy and efficiency.

Formwork fabrication: Fabricate molds according to the size and shape of the prefabricated beams. The molds can be made of steel or wood. It is necessary to ensure that the molds have sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand the pressure during concrete pouring and ensure the shape accuracy of the concrete after forming. In standardized production, steel molds are usually used; some beam yards use mobile pedestals and hydraulic formworks to achieve rapid demolding, and the assembly of hydraulic formworks is corrected using a laser tracking measurement system to further improve formwork accuracy.

Concrete pouring and vibration: Pour the pre-prepared concrete into the molds and fully vibrate it to make the concrete fill every corner of the molds, expel air bubbles, and ensure the compactness of the concrete. Some projects apply intelligent vibration systems to improve the compactness of the concrete and ensure the quality of the prefabricated beams.

Curing and demolding: After the concrete pouring is completed, conduct curing to provide suitable temperature and humidity conditions for the concrete to gradually increase its strength. After the curing is completed, carry out the demolding operation to take the prefabricated beams out of the molds.

Lifting and transportation: Use appropriate lifting equipment to transport the prefabricated beams to the construction site for installation. In the process of cutting and processing prestressed steel strands, automated intelligent equipment can be put into use to realize full-process automated operations and improve production efficiency and product quality.
