How to Make Prefabricated Cement Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The production of prefabricated cement houses mainly falls into two categories: factory-scale production and building mini houses by oneself. Details are as follows:

Factory-scale Production

  • Customized Component Production: All components of the house, including walls, roofs, and floor slabs, are produced in advance in the factory. The factory employs standardized production lines to customize components according to the specific needs of customers, covering architectural styles, dimensions, functional layouts, etc. This production method not only meets diverse architectural demands but also ensures consistent precision and quality of each component through a strict quality control system, avoiding quality fluctuations caused by human factors in traditional on-site construction.
  • Efficient On-site Assembly: After component production is completed, they are transported to the construction site for assembly. Workers simply follow the design drawings to拼接 (assemble) the prefabricated walls, roofs, floor slabs, and other components using bolts, welding, or mortise-and-tenon joints. This assembly method significantly shortens the construction period, reduces on-site wet operations (such as concrete pouring), decreases reliance on weather conditions, and minimizes the generation of construction waste, making it more environmentally friendly and efficient. Additionally, since most of the processing is done in the factory, noise and dust pollution during on-site construction are also significantly reduced.

Building Mini Cement Houses by Oneself

  • Foundation Construction: First, excavate a foundation pit, mix cement and sand in appropriate proportions, pour the mixture into the pit, and level it with a small shovel to form the foundation of the house. This step must ensure that the foundation is flat and solid to provide stable support for subsequent construction.
  • Component Production: Place molds on the foundation pit and pour cement into the molds until they are full, forming the preliminary shapes of walls or columns. Inserting sticks into the columns in the pit can enhance their structural strength and prevent cracking due to shrinkage during cement curing.
  • Assembly and Reinforcement: After the cement has cured, remove the molds, place the prefabricated roof panels on the erected columns, and use the columns to support the roof to prevent collapse. Finally, pour cement on top of the roof and use a small scraper to evenly spread the cement, forming a flat floor slab and completing the overall structural construction of the house.
