How to Install a Water Tank for a Mobile Toilet

Admin October 05, 2026

The method of installing a water tank for a mobile toilet varies depending on the type of toilet. Here are the installation methods for common types:

Water-Circulating Mobile Toilet

  1. Preliminary Preparation: Conduct on-site surveys and site selection, choosing a flat location with firm and stable soil. Perform foundation treatment and ground leveling according to the toilet's size and weight, and carry out foundation construction.
  2. Equipment Inspection: Check whether all components are complete and intact, ensuring that the water circulation system host and related accessories are undamaged.
  3. Main Body Installation and Pipe Connection: Position and secure the tank body, and install the water circulation system host. When connecting the piping system, focus on the inlet pipe connection. Reliably connect the external water supply pipe to the toilet's inlet valve and water storage tank. Install a filter at the inlet end to filter impurities in the water, preventing pipe blockages and ensuring normal equipment operation. At the same time, carefully check the tightness of the connections to ensure there are no leaks.

Portable Prefabricated Public Toilet

  1. Inlet Pipe Installation: Insert the inlet pipe into the inlet hole and ensure proper sealing to prevent water leakage.
  2. Water Tank Fixation: Based on the installation height and the positions of holes in the wall, drill holes in the wall and insert expansion bolts. Align the water tank for installation, insert bolts through the drilled holes in the back wall, and then tighten the nuts to ensure the water tank is firmly fixed.
  3. Connection Pipe Installation: Use copper pipes when installing the connection pipe between the water tank and the base to ensure stable and durable connections.
  4. Internal Accessory Installation and Adjustment: Install the internal accessories of the water tank, open the inlet valve, and adjust the floating ball's lifting height to maintain the water level in the tank within an appropriate range.
  5. Sealing and Inspection: After filling the water tank with water, carefully check for leaks in the tank and at the pipe connections. Seal the area between the base and the ground with putty to prevent water from seeping into the ground and affecting the toilet's stability. Finally, open the angle valve for a water test to check whether the drainage is smooth and whether there are any leaks at the connections.
