How to Install a Mobile Glass Toilet

Admin September 27, 2026

The installation of a mobile glass toilet must be carried out strictly according to the steps. The specific process is as follows:

  1. Preliminary Preparation

    • Clean the sewage pipes: Check for the presence of debris such as sand and waste paper in the sewage pipes to prevent blockages that may affect usage.
    • Level the ground: Ensure that the ground at the installation location is level in all directions to prevent the toilet body from tilting or having poor sealing due to an uneven surface.
    • Prepare tools and materials: Prepare tools according to the manufacturer's requirements, such as expansion screws and plastic sleeves, glass glue (or putty), cement mortar, an electric drill (with a 4.2-millimeter drill bit), a rivet gun, etc. If a spliced structure is involved, additional slot connectors are required.
  2. Site Survey and Foundation Treatment

    • Location selection: Keep away from main construction roads and pollution sources, and maintain a distance of more than 1.5 meters from the edge of the foundation pit to avoid the impact of vibration or settlement on stability.
    • Foundation reinforcement: Depending on the type of toilet (single or connected), clear debris from the ground, lay gravel or pour a concrete foundation to ensure that the load-bearing capacity meets the standard (a single-person toilet requires ≥200 kg/㎡).
  3. Positioning and Fixing the Toilet Body

    • Lifting operation: Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet body smoothly to the designated location. When multiple people are cooperating, unified command is required to keep the toilet body level and avoid structural damage caused by tilting.
    • Positioning and drilling: Turn over the toilet, draw a crosshair at the center of the sewage outlet and extend it to the surrounding bottom feet to determine the positions of the expansion screw installation holes. Use an impact electric drill to drill holes and embed plastic sleeves. For a spliced structure, insert the inner corner plates into the slots, align them, drill holes, and fix them with a rivet gun.
  4. Drainage and Sealing Treatment

    • Pipe connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site drainage system or a temporary collection pit. Seal the interface with sealing tape or cement. It is recommended to install an anti-backflow valve to prevent sewage backflow.
    • Sealing operation: At the sewage outlet of the toilet, choose a rubber ring, glass glue, or cement mortar (cement: yellow sand = 1:3) to fill the gaps to ensure airtightness and prevent odor leakage.
  5. Functional Debugging and Acceptance

    • Flush test: After connecting the water supply, check whether the flushing function is normal and whether the drainage pipes are unobstructed to avoid water accumulation.
    • Internal and external inspection: Confirm that the internal facilities (such as washbasins and hooks) are firmly installed and that the external toilet body is sealed without water leakage or air leakage.
    • Overall acceptance: After completing all steps, conduct a comprehensive test on the structural stability and functionality. Confirm that there are no errors before delivering it for use.

Precautions: The structures of mobile toilets produced by different manufacturers may vary. Before installation, carefully read the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer and strictly follow its guidance for adjustments.
