How to Install a Mobile Toilet Door

Admin October 06, 2026

The installation process for a mobile toilet door is as follows:

I. Preparation and Measurement
Before installation, use a spirit level to determine the vertical reference point to ensure accurate installation position. If hidden tracks are selected, measure the height of the false beam simultaneously, ensuring it is 2-3 cm lower than the subsequent ceiling. This can be achieved by welding the false beam with hot-dip galvanized square tubes. This step requires repeated calibration to avoid door operation stuttering or insufficient sealing due to track inclination.

II. Fixing the Frame
Apply structural adhesive evenly at the marked positions on the wall, press the frame against the wall, and hold it for 1-2 minutes to ensure full adhesion of the adhesive. The structural adhesive must be waterproof to prevent detachment in humid environments. If the wall is a lightweight partition, insert expansion bolts at the frame's fixing points in advance to enhance stability.

III. Installing the Track
Select the track type based on the door type:

  • Hanging Track: Fix the track brackets on ceiling embedments or false beams, with a spacing not exceeding 60 cm, to ensure even load-bearing.
  • Floor Track: Clear debris from the ground, keep the track installation surface flat, fix the track with self-tapping screws, and fill gaps with waterproof sealant.
Note: After track installation, use a spirit level for secondary verification, with a deviation controlled within ±1 mm.

IV. Adjusting the Pulleys
Install the pulley assembly on top of the door, control the pulley height by adjusting screws to maintain a 2-3 mm gap between the door and the track. Manually push the door to test its smooth operation. If stuttering occurs, check for foreign objects in the track or whether the pulley bearings lack oil.

V. Installing the Door
For custom aluminum alloy sliding doors, align the upper and lower frame buckles and gently press to complete assembly, then insert the entire assembly into the track. For ordinary doors, hang the pulleys directly into the hanging track and embed the bottom into the floor track groove. When installing dampers, ensure they align with the door edge to avoid buffer failure.

VI. Installing the Door Lock
Select the installation method based on the lock type:

  • Magnetic Lock: Drill holes at corresponding positions on the door frame and door, fix the lock body, and adjust the magnetic strength.
  • Mechanical Lock: Use a drill to make a lock hole on the door edge, install the lock cylinder and handle, and test the switch flexibility.

VII. Final Work
Fill gaps between the door frame and wall, and between the track and ground with glass glue to prevent moisture penetration. After the adhesive cures, clean surface residues, check if the door opens and closes smoothly, and if the lock is secure, completing the final debugging.
