How to Handle the Back of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 08, 2026

The handling methods for the back of mobile toilets mainly include sewage outlet connection, waste disposal, cleaning procedures, environmental protection and resource utilization, and precautions, as detailed below:

Mobile toilets typically have a 110mm sewage pipe and a 25mm water inlet pipe at the rear. After being placed, they can be directly connected to municipal sewage pipes or septic tanks for immediate use, which is the most basic hardware configuration.

Waste disposal solutions should be selected based on the type of toilet:

  • Portable Solution: When using portable toilets or collection bags, add a coagulant or deodorant after defecation, seal them, and place them in dedicated garbage bags for unified collection and disposal by sanitation departments.
  • Biodegradation System: For vehicle-mounted packing toilets, microorganisms decompose waste into stable solids and liquids. The liquid must be treated according to sewage discharge standards, while the solids can be recycled by professional agencies or disposed of according to the instructions.
  • Chemical Treatment Method: Add chemicals such as chlorine gas or sodium hydroxide to separate waste from water, reduce odors and harmful gas emissions, suitable for temporary locations without sewage networks.
  • Flush and Non-flush Suction Types: Flush toilets have a water tank on top and a sewage tank at the bottom; non-flush toilets directly receive waste in a bottom sewage tank. Both require regular suction of sewage to prevent overflow.
  • Recirculating Flush Type: Utilizes intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment systems combined with biofilm technology to recycle treated sewage for flushing, conserving water resources.
  • Dry Packing Type: Uses biodegradable plastic bags to collect waste, which are automatically replaced with new bags after use, requiring no water throughout the process, suitable for arid regions.
  • Foam Sealing Type: Special foaming liquid generates foam that covers the inside of the toilet bowl, blocking odors and reducing flush water volume.
  • Microbial Type: Uses a solid-liquid separation device to treat feces and urine separately. Feces are decomposed by microorganisms into organic fertilizer, while urine is purified into reclaimed water for reuse.

The cleaning procedure must be strictly followed:

  1. Collect Waste: Empty the septic tank or waste collection bucket and transport it to a designated harmless treatment location.
  2. Basic Wiping: Use diluted detergent and a wet cloth to wipe walls, floors, toilet seats, and other contact areas.
  3. Disinfect: Use compliant disinfectants to spray or wipe high-frequency contact areas to prevent the spread of germs.
  4. Improve Air Quality: Turn on ventilation equipment or use air fresheners to disperse odors.
  5. External Cleaning: Use detergent and clean water to rinse the exterior, doors, windows, and other areas to maintain overall hygiene.

In terms of environmental protection and resource utilization, properly treated waste can serve as high-quality organic fertilizer, enhancing soil fertility and promoting crop growth, achieving resource recycling.

Precautions: Regardless of the disposal method used, it is strictly prohibited to discharge untreated waste directly into the natural environment to avoid polluting soil and water sources.
