How to Handle Mobile Toilet Floors

Admin October 22, 2026

The approach to handling mobile toilet floors should be selected based on specific needs and scenarios, with common methods including customized flooring, fixed installation construction, and relocation scenario handling, as detailed below:

I. Customized Flooring

To enhance the durability and aesthetics of mobile toilets, anti-slip marble flooring can be chosen. This type of flooring supports personalized customization, including appearance color, size, and texture design, to adapt to different scenario requirements. For example, tourist attractions or high-end event venues can select hues that harmonize with the surrounding environment, while the anti-slip feature reduces usage risks. Customized flooring requires prior measurement of the toilet's internal dimensions to ensure precise matching between the flooring and the structure, avoiding gaps or unevenness after installation.

II. Fixed Installation Construction

If the mobile toilet needs to be permanently fixed in a specific location (such as construction sites or remote areas), a stable floor foundation must be constructed using the concrete pouring and fixing method. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Foundation Treatment: Excavate a foundation pit according to the toilet's dimensions, with the depth adjusted based on geological conditions (typically 30-50cm). Lay a 10-15cm thick gravel bed at the bottom of the pit and compact it to enhance drainage and load-bearing capacity.
  2. Concrete Pouring: After formwork setup, pour concrete with a strength of C20 or higher and insert a steel reinforcement framework (with a diameter of ≥10mm) to enhance structural strength and prevent subsequent settlement or cracking.
  3. Connection and Fixing: After the concrete has set (usually taking 7-14 days), connect the toilet chassis to the foundation using bolts or welding to ensure overall stability.
This method is suitable for scenarios that need to withstand strong winds, earthquakes, or heavy loads, but it has a longer construction period and higher costs.

III. Relocation Scenario Handling

If the position of the toilet's stool needs to be adjusted (such as when renovating existing facilities), floor trenching and pipe relocation are required:

  1. Floor Chiseling: Use an electric hammer or angle grinder to chisel out the original floor slab to a depth of approximately 20-40mm, reserving space for the installation of a relocation device.
  2. Embedding the Relocation Device: Fix the relocation device within the trench, ensuring its levelness error is ≤2mm to avoid subsequent drainage issues.
  3. Floor Restoration: Proceed with floor leveling, waterproof layer construction (approximately 20mm thick, using polyurethane or acrylic materials), and tile laying (approximately 30mm thick), ensuring the total height matches the original floor.
If the relocation device is below the floor level, connect the pipes using special interface fittings (such as 125-type straight connectors). After cleaning the interfaces, apply PVC glue for fixation, fill the gaps with grout or silicone sealant, and finally smooth the area around the pipes with waterproof putty to prevent leakage.

Precautions: All construction must comply with the requirements of the "Building Water Supply and Drainage Design Standard" (GB 50015-2019), especially the waterproof layer must undergo a 24-hour closed-water test to ensure no leakage before the toilet can be put into use.
