How to Flush Mobile Toilets Outdoors

Admin October 06, 2026

There are several main ways to flush mobile toilets outdoors:

Automatic Flushing System

The automatic flushing system is a relatively common method, typically including an infrared receiving probe. When a person approaches, the probe can sensitively receive infrared rays emitted by the human body with sufficient intensity. At this point, the control circuit starts to operate, allowing the flushing solenoid valve to be energized and remain on for two seconds, thus releasing water once. When the person leaves, the intensity of the infrared rays received by the probe decreases, and the internal control circuit resets. At the same time, it keeps the solenoid valve connected for another three seconds and releases water again. Some advanced mobile public toilets are also equipped with more intelligent automatic sensing flushing systems. These systems detect the entry and exit of users through high-precision sensors and automatically initiate the flushing process. This system is responsive and easy to use, effectively reducing unhygienic situations caused by forgetting to flush.

Manual Flushing Method

In some mobile toilets, a manual flushing method is used. A handle or button is installed at the top of the toilet. After use, the user needs to manually pull or press this handle or button to initiate flushing. This method is simple and straightforward to operate, but it requires the user to have a certain degree of self-discipline and take the initiative to perform the flushing operation.

Foot-Pedal Flushing

Foot-pedal flushing is a relatively hygienic flushing method. The user triggers the flushing by stepping on a pedal. This entire process avoids direct contact with the flushing switch, further reducing the possibility of bacterial transmission. It is especially suitable for outdoor environments and can effectively reduce hygiene risks caused by hand contact.

Compressed Spray System

The compressed spray system transmits water pressure to a spray head and sprays fine water mist onto the internal facilities of the public toilet for cleaning. This method has the advantage of saving water resources. At the same time, the flushing effect is good, and the environmental pollution is relatively small. It is suitable for use in areas where water resources are relatively scarce.

Water Storage Tank Pressurization System

The water storage tank pressurization system stores water in a water storage tank and then increases the water pressure through a pressurization pump for flushing and cleaning. This method has a good pressurization effect and a large water storage capacity, which can meet the needs of continuous use. It is suitable for use in outdoor places with a large flow of people.

Vacuum Sewage Suction Truck

For public toilets with a large amount of waste, a vacuum sewage suction truck is an effective cleaning and flushing method. Using a vacuum sewage suction truck, the wastewater and sewage inside the public toilet can be sucked out, thus achieving the purpose of rapid cleaning and flushing and ensuring the hygiene of the public toilet.
