How to Fix the Squatting Pan in a Mobile Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

The method of fixing the squatting pan in a mobile toilet varies depending on its type, mainly divided into two cases: direct-discharge mobile toilets and stainless steel waterless packing squatting pans.

Direct-Discharge Mobile Toilets

The steps for fixing the squatting pan in a direct-discharge mobile toilet are relatively complex and require the cooperation of various tools and materials.

  • Installing the Three-Way Connector and Applying Structural Adhesive: During installation, first evenly apply structural adhesive to the three-way connector and then install it. The role of structural adhesive is to enhance the connection and sealing between components, preventing sewage leakage.
  • Fixing the Corner Posts and Panels: Use a rivet gun and an electric drill in combination to firmly fix the corner posts and panels together. The rivet gun can quickly and accurately insert rivets, ensuring a stable connection; the electric drill is used for drilling holes to provide suitable positions for rivet installation.
  • Inserting the Panels and Checking for Leaks and Fixing: Insert the panels into the corresponding positions through the slots and fix them. At the same time, carefully inspect the connections between the internal corner posts and panels for any leaks. If leaks are found, promptly fix and seal them to ensure the overall sealing of the toilet.
  • Sewage Pipe Treatment: Apply adhesive at the top of the sewage pipe to prevent sewage from overflowing from the top. At the same time, use iron wire to wrap and fix the bottom steel pipe and the sewage pipe to further enhance the stability of the sewage pipe. Finally, apply adhesive comprehensively to the interior and exterior to ensure the sealing of the entire squatting pan system.

Stainless Steel Waterless Packing Squatting Pans

Stainless steel waterless packing squatting pans have two installation methods: floor-standing bracket type and in-ground type. The fixing method for the in-ground type is as follows:

  • Waterproofing and Ground Leveling: Before installing the in-ground type, it is essential to carry out waterproofing work to prevent groundwater from seeping into the interior of the toilet, affecting its use and causing damage. At the same time, level the ground to ensure it is flat, providing a stable foundation for the installation of the squatting pan.
  • Fixing the Steel Frame and Adding Rubber Pads: Install the fixed steel frame and add rubber pads at the contact points between the frame and the ground. The rubber pads can act as a buffer and anti-slip, reducing the friction between the steel frame and the ground and also enhancing the stability of the steel frame.
  • Placing the Squatting Pan and Adjusting the Level: Place the squatting pan on the fixed steel frame and use a level to adjust its levelness to ensure comfort and stability during use.
