How to Fix Mobile Toilets During Loading

Admin October 09, 2026

The following methods can be referred to for fixing mobile toilets during loading to ensure transportation safety:

I. Select Appropriate Fixing Tools

  1. For small mobile toilets: High-strength nylon straps are preferred. The width should be ≥5 cm, and the tensile strength should be ≥5000 kg. Wrap the straps around the fixing points at the bottom or sides of the mobile toilet and tie them to the fixing rings or rails of the transportation vehicle, ensuring they are tight and not loose.
  2. For large or heavy-duty mobile toilets: It is recommended to use chains or steel wire ropes for fixing. The diameter of the steel wire rope should be ≥8 mm, and it should be equipped with professional steel wire rope clamps (at least 3 clamps per fixing point, with a spacing between clamps ≥6 times the diameter of the steel wire rope). Connect the sturdy parts of the mobile toilet to the fixing points on the vehicle to cope with transportation bumps.

II. Determine Reasonable Fixing Positions

  1. Bottom fixing: Utilize the dedicated fixing points (such as reinforced structures) at the four corners or edges of the bottom of the mobile toilet. Connect the vehicle's bottom fixing rings or brackets with straps, chains, or steel wire ropes. After tightening, ensure that the mobile toilet is closely attached to the vehicle body to prevent forward, backward, or sideways movement.
  2. Side fixing: For taller or easily swaying mobile toilets, auxiliary fixing is required at the middle or upper part of the sides. For example, pull straps or steel wire ropes diagonally to the side rails or columns of the vehicle to form a triangular stable structure and prevent tipping during transportation.

III. Add Protective and Buffering Measures

  1. Anti-slip treatment: Lay anti-slip rubber mats (about 5 cm thick with a rough surface) at the contact points between the mobile toilet and the vehicle body to increase friction and prevent displacement.
  2. Buffer protection: Place foam boards, sponges, and other buffering materials around the mobile toilet and at the contact points of the fixing points to reduce collisions and friction during transportation and protect the appearance and structural integrity.

IV. Inspection and Maintenance Before transportation, comprehensively inspect the integrity of the fixing tools (such as no wear on the straps and no breakage of the steel wire ropes) and the firmness of the fixing. During transportation, conduct regular re-inspections to ensure that the mobile toilet is always in a safe and fixed state.

By scientifically selecting tools, reasonably positioning the fixing points, adding protective measures, and conducting strict inspections, the stability and safety of mobile toilets during transportation can be effectively guaranteed.
