How to Dispose of Garbage in Mobile Toilets

Admin October 02, 2026

The types of mobile toilets that involve 'garbage disposal' operations are mainly mobile sewage tank toilets and waterless flush (dry packing) toilets. The specific handling methods are as follows:

The core of garbage disposal in mobile sewage tank toilets lies in the detachable sewage tank located beneath the toilet. When the sewage tank is full of waste, the user needs to first close the toilet's sewage valve (if available) to ensure no leakage occurs during the operation. Subsequently, the sewage tank is removed from the bottom of the toilet using a specific unlocking mechanism. This process requires wearing protective gear such as gloves to avoid direct contact with the waste. The removed sewage tank should be promptly transported to a designated sewage disposal facility, such as a public toilet, gas station, or municipal department, for emptying. After emptying, the sewage tank must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to remove residual waste and odors, preventing bacterial growth. The cleaned and disinfected sewage tank can then be reinstalled at the bottom of the toilet for continued use.

Waterless flush (dry packing) toilets use biodegradable plastic bags to collect waste. After each use, the system automatically seals the waste in a new plastic bag, isolating it from the outside environment. When the plastic bag is full, the user needs to open the toilet's dedicated collection port and remove the bag filled with waste. Since the bag is sealed, there is minimal odor and leakage during the operation. The removed plastic bags should be transported in accordance with local environmental regulations to designated waste treatment plants or harmless treatment sites. These facilities employ professional techniques, such as high-temperature composting and biodegradation, to treat the plastic bags and their contents in a harmless manner, ensuring no environmental pollution.

Other types of mobile toilets, such as water-flush toilets, chemical treatment toilets, and vacuum drainage toilets, primarily discharge waste through sewage tanks or pipes to designated sewage treatment systems and do not involve manual 'garbage disposal' operations.
