How to Discharge Feces from Mobile Toilets
There are various ways to discharge feces from mobile toilets, including direct-discharge type, fecal-tank receiving type, waterless-flushing packaging type, foam-blocking type, microbial degradation type, and circulating-water flushing type, among others.

Direct-discharge mobile toilets use a water-flushing device to directly flush excreta into sewer pipes. This method requires supporting sewer pipes and septic tanks and is suitable for areas with a well-established sewage system. It can quickly and effectively discharge feces and maintain cleanliness and hygiene inside the toilet.
Fecal-tank (sewage-tank) receiving mobile toilets do not have a flushing device. Instead, a sewage tank located at the bottom of the toilet directly receives excreta from users. When the capacity of the sewage tank is small, it needs to be pumped out and the feces transported away for treatment after reaching a specified number of users. This method is suitable for temporary venues or areas without sewer pipes but requires regular cleaning of the sewage tank to ensure the normal use of the toilet.
Waterless-flushing packaging mobile toilets also do not have a flushing device but use dedicated packaging bags to receive excreta. After each use, staff package the bags and transport them to designated locations for treatment. The advantage of this method is that it does not require water, making it suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary events. However, it requires a sufficient number of packaging bags and timely cleaning of the packaged feces.
Foam-blocking mobile toilets use foaming liquid to cover excreta, preventing it from directly contacting the ground in the squat toilet and reducing odor emission. When the excreta is full, a fecal suction truck will remove it. This method can effectively reduce water consumption while maintaining toilet cleanliness but requires regular addition of foaming liquid and cleaning of feces.
Microbial degradation mobile toilets automatically open the toilet bowl to enter a solid-liquid separation device, separating urine and feces. Feces enter a fermentation tank and are decomposed by microbial bacteria, ultimately converting into carbon dioxide and water. Urine is filtered and enters a comprehensive urine treatment system, where it is processed into reclaimed water for flushing the urinal, forming a循环 (closed loop). This method is environmentally friendly and efficient, enabling harmless treatment and resource utilization of feces.
Circulating-water flushing mobile toilets are equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices for fecal sewage and add biological strains. They use biofilm technology to accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of fecal sewage. The treated water can be recycled for flushing toilet fixtures. This method can save water resources and reduce environmental pollution but requires regular maintenance of the treatment device to ensure its normal operation.
