How to Disassemble a Mobile Toilet Cabinet
Admin October 16, 2026
Disassembling a mobile toilet cabinet requires operation based on its specific structure. The core steps are as follows:

I. Preparation Before Disassembly
- Safety Protection: Turn off the power and water supply in the bathroom to avoid electric shock or water leakage accidents during the disassembly process.
- Empty the Contents: Remove all items from the cabinet to ensure sufficient operating space.
- Tool Preparation: Prepare tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, electric drills (optional), WD-40 lubricant, plastic pry bars, and gloves according to the cabinet's fixing method. If the cabinet is fixed to the wall, it is advisable to take photos in advance to record the screw positions and fixing methods for easy restoration later.
- Environment Inspection: Ensure the operating area is dry to avoid accidental slipping due to wet floors.
II. Identify the Fixing Method and Disassemble
- Screw-Fixed Type
- Wall/Floor Fixing: If the cabinet is fixed with screws, use a screwdriver or electric drill to rotate the screws counterclockwise. If the screws are rusty and difficult to turn, spray WD-40 lubricant to help loosen them, or use needle-nose pliers to clamp the screw heads and force rotation.
- Screw Hole Treatment: After removing the screws, if there are obvious holes left on the wall or floor, use wall repair paste to fill and smooth them out, and sand them smooth after drying.
- Snap-Fit Structure
- Hidden Snap Design: Observe whether there are hidden snap buttons at the bottom or sides of the cabinet. Press the snaps while gently lifting the cabinet body outward to separate the main body from the support.
- Lock Design: If the cabinet has a lock, first use the key to rotate and unlock it, then follow the above method. If the snap points cannot be found, use a plastic pry bar to probe along the gaps to avoid scratching the cabinet surface with metal tools.
III. Handle the Connection Parts
- Water Pipe Connection: If the cabinet is connected to a water pipe, first turn off the water valve and use a wrench to slowly loosen the connection to avoid breaking the water pipe due to excessive force. Wrap the connection with waterproof tape after disassembly to prevent water leakage.
- Electrical Wire Connection: If the cabinet has built-in electrical appliances or is connected to the circuit, be sure to cut off the power first, and then use an insulated screwdriver to disassemble the wire connectors. If you are not familiar with the circuit, it is advisable to contact a professional electrician for assistance.
IV. Storage and Follow-Up Treatment
- Dry Storage: Place the disassembled cabinet in a dry and ventilated place to avoid deformation due to moisture. If the cabinet body is heavy, hold it from the bottom with both hands to prevent the cabinet doors or drawers from accidentally opening and causing damage.
- Tool Return: Clean up the operating site and store the tools neatly to avoid leaving them in the bathroom and causing safety hazards.
Precautions: Wear protective gloves during operation to prevent scratches; if the cabinet structure is complex or firmly fixed, it is advisable to disassemble it in stages to avoid damaging the cabinet body due to forced pulling.
