How to Decorate a Small Mobile Toilet

Admin October 07, 2026

The following methods can be referred to for decorating a small mobile toilet:

Use a bucket or water storage tank as the main structure

Select a bucket or water storage tank of an appropriate size as the core structure. Install universal wheels on a wooden board as the base. Place the cut bucket or water storage tank on the base and secure it with wooden strips. After cutting out an entrance and exit, wrap and fix the cut edges with wooden boards to ensure the structure is stable and the edges are smooth, preventing scratches to users.

Heighten and cap

To enhance privacy, insert aluminum-plastic panels into the upper wooden sandwich layer to extend and heighten the structure. Install the tank lid on top as a cap. Paint the wooden strips inside with white paint to make the color uniform and aesthetically pleasing, while also enhancing moisture resistance. The cap design should include reserved ventilation openings to prevent the accumulation of odors due to poor air circulation inside.

Install functional components

  • Toilet: Mark the hole positions at the bottom, connect an elbow drain pipe, and install a floor drain to ensure smooth drainage. After installing the toilet, apply sealant around it to prevent leaks. The toilet tank should be connected to the water inlet pipe to ensure normal flushing function.
  • Shower facilities: Use PVC pipes to assemble a showerhead. Drill holes on the side and bottom of the water storage tank to install water pipe connectors. Connect PVC water pipes and install valve switches and tee pipes. Extend the pipes to the bottom to connect to the showerhead pipes and secure the showerhead holder. Alternatively, install the showerhead opposite the toilet and cover the toilet lid during showering to prevent it from getting wet.
  • Sink: Use wooden boards and strips to fabricate a wooden door as the entrance door of the mobile toilet and install it on the door frame with hinges. You can also use a stainless-steel basin to make a sink, fix it on the water pipe, and connect a faucet to ensure convenient water use.

Optimize space utilization

  • Move the sink outside: If there is sufficient external space, place the sink outside the toilet, leaving only the toilet and shower area inside to enhance internal comfort.
  • Maximize wall utilization: Install pegboard hooks to store cleaning tools and toiletries. Create niche designs to store toiletries and bath products, increasing storage space.
  • Reduce the door size: Replace the toilet door with a smaller one to reduce the space occupied by the door, increase the utilization rate of wall space, and facilitate the installation of hooks or shelves.

Connect water pipes and drainage

Drill a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow, and connect a water pipe. Seal the gaps and cut off the excess water pipe. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet tank, connect the shower hose, and install the showerhead holder properly to ensure normal water supply and drainage functions for all components.
