How to Connect a Water Tank for a Mobile Toilet
Admin October 06, 2026
The method of connecting a water tank to a mobile toilet varies depending on the type of toilet, mainly divided into two types: water-circulating mobile toilets and movable-panel public toilets. The specific operations are as follows:

Water-Circulating Mobile Toilets
- External Water Supply Connection: After the toilet body is in place and secured, connect the external water supply pipe reliably to the toilet's inlet valve and water storage tank. An filter is usually required at the water inlet end to filter out impurities in the water, preventing pipe blockages or affecting the normal operation of the equipment. After connection, carefully check the tightness of all interfaces to ensure there are no leaks. You can determine whether the interfaces are well-sealed by applying soapy water and observing for the presence of bubbles.
- Internal Circulation Pipe Connection: According to the flowchart provided with the equipment, correctly connect the internal circulation pipes between the toilet bowl, collection tank, water circulation treatment unit, and the purified freshwater tank. This step is crucial as it relates to the normal operation of the entire water circulation system. If the pipes are connected incorrectly, it may lead to improper sewage treatment or circulation, affecting the toilet's usability. During connection, pay attention to the direction of the pipes and the corresponding relationships of the interfaces to ensure a secure connection.
Movable-Panel Public Toilets (Refer to the water tank installation ideas)
- Water Inlet Pipe Installation: Insert the water inlet pipe into the water inlet hole and ensure proper sealing. You can use sealing glue or Teflon tape to ensure there are no leaks between the water inlet pipe and the hole.
- Water Tank Fixation: Drill holes in the wall according to the installation height and the positions of the wall holes. Insert expansion bolts. Align the water tank for installation, insert the bolts through the holes in the back wall, and tighten them with nuts. When installing the connecting pipe between the water tank and the base, it is recommended to use copper pipes due to their excellent corrosion resistance and sealing properties.
- Internal Accessory Installation and Debugging: Install the internal accessories of the water tank, open the inlet valve, and adjust the floating ball's lifting height according to the water level inside the tank. After the tank is filled with water, carefully check for leaks at the connections between the tank and the pipes. If leaks are found, address them promptly. Seal the gap between the base and the ground with putty to prevent sewage from leaking onto the ground. Open the angle valve for a water test. Press the flush button on the tank to observe whether the drainage is smooth and check for leaks at the connections. If leaks are detected, stop using it immediately and carry out repairs.
