How to Connect Prefabricated Concrete Houses
The connection methods for prefabricated concrete houses are mainly divided into two categories: connection with the foundation and connection between components. Specific operations should be carried out in combination with regulatory requirements and material characteristics.

Connection with the Foundation
Embedded Iron Connection Before constructing the prefabricated house, pre-embedded iron parts should be reserved in the foundation in advance. These pre-embedded iron parts are usually steel plates or reinforced steel structures, and their positions and dimensions should be strictly determined according to the design drawings. During installation, align the corresponding connectors (such as bolts or welded structures) at the bottom of the prefabricated house with the pre-embedded iron parts, and achieve a stable connection through welding or bolting. This method can effectively transfer vertical loads and ensure the integrity of the house and the foundation.
Epoxy Resin Adhesive Reinforcement If there are minor gaps between the foundation and the prefabricated components or if local connection strength needs to be enhanced, epoxy resin adhesive can be used for reinforcement. Specific operations include: cleaning the V-shaped grooves or cracks at the connection site to ensure the surface is free of dust and oil; evenly pouring the epoxy resin adhesive into the grooves or cracks until they are fully filled; after the adhesive cures, covering the reinforced area with carbon fiber cloth to enhance tensile performance through the composite action of the adhesive and the fiber cloth. This method is suitable for repairing floor slab cracks caused by temperature changes or cracks during construction, and attention should be paid to matching the adhesive curing time with the ambient temperature.
Connection Between Components
Pre-installation Preparation Before installing prefabricated components (such as columns, beams, and slabs), it is necessary to verify whether their dimensions, specifications, and strengths meet the design requirements, with a focus on checking whether the positions and quantities of reserved sleeves and reinforcing bars are consistent with the drawings. At the same time, prepare connection materials such as bolts, sleeves, and grouting materials, as well as tools such as level gauges and laser positioning instruments to ensure installation accuracy.
Foundation Treatment and Foundation Pouring According to the design requirements, level and compact the foundation, and pour a concrete base or strip foundation. The surface of the foundation should be kept level, with errors controlled within the allowable range of the specifications, to provide stable support for subsequent component positioning.
Component Positioning and Assembly Install the components in a sequential manner: first position the columns and fix them through bolt or sleeve grouting connections; then install the beams, ensuring that the connection nodes with the columns are tightly fitted; finally, lay the floor slabs or roof panels. For bolt connections, the torque values should be controlled, and for sleeve grouting, high-strength grouting materials should be used to fill the reserved sleeves. After the grout hardens, a rigid connection is formed. Gaps between walls should be filled with sealing materials (such as silicone adhesive) to prevent rainwater leakage.
Precautions: During the connection process, it is necessary to strictly follow building codes and conduct quality inspections on key nodes to ensure that the connection strength meets design requirements for earthquake resistance and wind resistance.
