How to Connect Pipes for Mobile Prefab Toilet
Admin October 01, 2026
The pipe connection for mobile prefab toilets should be carried out in accordance with regulations to ensure smooth drainage and prevent leakage. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Basic Pipe Connection Steps
Select the Installation Location
- The installation location of the sewer pipe should meet the conditions of good ventilation and convenient drainage, avoiding proximity to living areas or water sources to prevent odor diffusion.
- Ensure there is sufficient operating space around the sewer pipe opening for subsequent maintenance and cleaning.
Connect the Sewage Outlet to the Sewer Pipe
- Select an appropriate interface type (such as rubber sealing rings or threaded interfaces) based on the size of the mobile toilet's sewage outlet, ensuring that the interface matches the diameter of the sewer pipe.
- Connect one end of the sewer pipe tightly to the sewage outlet and extend the other end along the ground to the outdoors or septic tank. The extension direction should be kept straight or with a slight slope to avoid blockages caused by bends.
Sealing Treatment
- Apply sealing adhesive evenly at all connection points (such as the interface between the sewage outlet and the sewer pipe, and the joints of the sewer pipe extensions) to ensure there are no gaps.
- If using PVC pipes, select PVC-specific adhesive. After application, quickly insert and rotate 15°-30° to enhance bonding strength.
Adjust the Pipe Slope
- The sewer pipe should be kept vertical or horizontal, with a slope controlled at 2%-5% (i.e., a drop of 2-5 cm per meter) to ensure natural sewage flow and prevent backflow or water accumulation.
Regular Maintenance
- Check the connections of the sewer pipe monthly for looseness or leakage. Flush the pipes with professional pipe cleaners or high-pressure water guns every quarter to prevent scale buildup.
II. Supplementary Steps for PVC Drain Pipe Installation (if applicable)
Plan the Drainage Path
- Design the main pipe route based on the layout of the mobile prefab house, prioritizing the shortest path to reduce the use of elbows and lower the risk of blockages.
Precise Measurement and Cutting
- Measure the pipe length with a tape measure, leaving a margin of 5-10 cm before cutting. Sand the burrs on the pipe ends to avoid scratching the sealing rings or affecting adhesive bonding.
Assemble Pipe Fittings
- Apply PVC adhesive evenly to the inner walls of the pipes and fittings (such as tees and elbows). After insertion, keep them still for 2-3 seconds to ensure the adhesive cures.
Secure the Pipes
- Use pipe clamps to secure the main pipes to the wall or ground, with a spacing of no more than 1 meter. Adjust the slope of branch pipes before connecting them to sanitary fixtures.
Connect Sanitary Fixtures
- Connect the toilet to the drain pipe using a flange ring for sealing. Use hoses or PVC pipes for sinks and floor drains, tightening the interfaces and wrapping them with Teflon tape to prevent leaks.
Key Tip: If the mobile prefab toilet is used for a long time, it is recommended to install a odor-proof elbow at the end of the sewer pipe and regularly check the capacity of the septic tank to avoid sewage backflow.
