How to Choose Mobile Public Toilets

Admin October 11, 2026

Choosing mobile public toilets requires a comprehensive consideration of usage scenarios, material craftsmanship, and sewage disposal methods, as detailed below:

I. Select Models Based on Usage Scenarios

Different scenarios have significantly different functional requirements for mobile toilets, necessitating targeted selections:

  • Construction sites, temporary construction sites, short-term events: Prioritize simple steel-structured mobile toilets. These are sturdy, easy to assemble and disassemble, can be repeatedly transported, suitable for temporary usage needs, and have relatively low costs.
  • Scenic spots, parks, municipal roads, cultural and tourism parks: Recommend prefabricated landscape mobile toilets. They have a simple and elegant appearance, good sealing properties, effectively reduce odor accumulation, are suitable for long-term outdoor placement, and have high coordination with the surrounding environment.
  • Rural outdoors, camping bases, sites without sewer networks: Sewer-free ecological mobile toilets are an ideal choice. They do not require complex civil engineering construction, have reasonable sewage disposal designs, are leak-proof and easy to clean, and can significantly reduce later maintenance costs.
  • Large-scale temporary events such as sports events, exhibitions, and team-building activities: Multi-compartment mobile public toilets need to be selected. They have a sufficient number of toilet stalls, high personnel turnover efficiency, can effectively alleviate toilet shortages, and meet high-traffic usage scenarios.

II. Focus on Material Craftsmanship

Material craftsmanship directly affects the durability, safety, and user experience of mobile toilets:

  • Main frame: High-quality products use hot-dip galvanized square steel welded frames, which have strong wind, sun, and corrosion resistance, are not prone to paint peeling or rusting during long-term outdoor placement, and significantly extend the service life.
  • Exterior wall panels:
    • Metal embossed panels: They combine heat insulation, waterproofing, and corrosion resistance functions, have a good appearance texture, and are suitable for scenarios with high aesthetic requirements such as municipal areas and scenic spots;
    • Color steel panels: They are lightweight and cost-effective, suitable for short-term temporary use on construction sites, but have relatively weak durability;
    • Landscape-shaped panels: They have a high appearance value and can be customized in design, suitable for characteristic scenarios such as gardens and cultural and tourism scenic spots.
  • Internal configurations: Basic configurations must be complete, including slip-resistant and wear-resistant floors, odor-proof ceramic sanitary ware, ventilation and air exchange equipment, energy-saving lighting, privacy door locks, and storage hooks. Pay special attention to sealing craftsmanship and odor-proof designs to avoid odor diffusion.

III. Choose Sewage Disposal Methods Based on Site Conditions

Sewage disposal methods directly affect later usage and operation and maintenance, and need to be selected according to the site's sewer network conditions:

  • If the site has a complete municipal sewer network, direct-discharge type can be selected, which directly connects to the sewage pipeline and has simple operation and maintenance;
  • If there is no sewer network or the sewer network is incomplete, packaging type, biodegradable type, or fecal storage type need to be selected, which process excreta through regular cleaning or natural decomposition to avoid environmental pollution.

In addition, some mobile toilets support customization based on drawings and samples, which can meet personalized needs such as special sizes, functional modules, or brand logos.
