How to Choose a Portable Toilet
Choosing a portable toilet requires considering core factors such as usage scenarios, material quality, and sewage disposal methods.

First, select the model based on the usage scenario:
Different scenarios have significantly different functional requirements for portable toilets. Construction sites, temporary construction areas, or short-term events (such as music festivals) require frequent assembly and disassembly. It is recommended to choose a simple steel-structured portable toilet, which is sturdy, easy to assemble and disassemble, and can be repeatedly transported, offering high cost-effectiveness. Public places like scenic spots and parks prioritize aesthetics and practicality. Prefabricated landscape portable toilets feature a simple and elegant appearance, good sealing, and effectively reduce odor accumulation. Rural outdoor areas, camping sites, or locations without a sewage network need to solve sewage disposal issues. Pipe-free ecological portable toilets use biodegradation or bagging designs, eliminating the need for complex civil engineering, preventing leakage, and facilitating easy cleaning. Large-scale events like sports competitions and exhibitions need to accommodate high foot traffic. Multi-unit portable public toilets provide sufficient stalls, improving personnel turnover efficiency.
Second, focus on examining material quality:
Materials directly determine the service life and safety of portable toilets. The main frame should be a hot-dip galvanized square steel welded structure, which offers excellent wind, sun, and corrosion resistance, adapting well to harsh outdoor environments. Exterior wall panels should be selected based on the scenario: metal embossed panels combine thermal insulation with waterproof and corrosion-resistant functions, suitable for long-term use; color steel panels are lightweight and cost-effective, suitable for short-term needs at construction sites; landscape-style panels have a high aesthetic appeal, suitable for gardens and cultural tourism scenic spots. Internal configurations should focus on practicality, with basic features including slip-resistant and wear-resistant floors, odor-resistant ceramic fixtures, ventilation and air exchange equipment, energy-efficient lighting, privacy door locks, and storage hooks. Special attention should be paid to checking the sealing process and odor-resistant design to prevent odor diffusion.
Finally, choose the sewage disposal method based on site conditions:
The sewage disposal method directly affects later operation and maintenance costs. If the site is close to a municipal sewage network, a water-flush direct-discharge type can be selected, connecting directly to the sewage system through pipes. Areas without a sewage network should choose pipe-free bagging or biodegradation types. The former collects waste in biodegradable bags for regular replacement, while the latter uses microorganisms to decompose feces, reducing cleaning frequency. Some scenarios can opt for a vacuum suction type, which reduces water consumption through a negative pressure system, suitable for water-scarce areas. The choice should be based on a comprehensive assessment of site drainage conditions, environmental requirements, and operation and maintenance costs.
